Poetry 6: Unceasing Beauty

The glowing Sun swallows the eerie darkness,
Dawn cracks, and the stars become worthless

The horizon is a mosaic of colours,
Blending into each other until they're a breathtaking blur.

Deep rufescent is sprawled victoriously at the top,
Red follows soon, as if trying to eavesdrop,
Bright orange joins in, followed by yellow, it's long-lost twin.

The birds' cries reverberates through the place,
It's a kind of sound that no music can replace

Fresh dew drops cover the lush green leaves,
The squirrels run up the tree like discreet thieves

People wake up and begin their work,
"I'm the boss," the sun says with a smirk

But somewhere someone is sitting by the window,
Admiring the nature and letting her thoughts flow.
