I notice you

It's only two weeks before summer vacation, and Katsumi has been adjusting well to UA life. She has gotten to know all of her classmates, and has set her eyes on Bakugo Katsuki. Not because she likes him, but because she sees a challenge in him. Her stubbornness is on par with Bakugo and she wants to become friends with him.

Katsumi's training is going well, except for her hot temper every time she loses. She is going full speed trying to catch up with Izuku, Bakugo, and Todoroki, since they're the strongest, but right now she can still only handle Ochaco. Katsumi's fighting style has evolved into one with strong close-combat skills, but she still has trouble controlling her flames. She has gotten quicker thanks to Izuku's help, but she is still lacking behind.

After training one day with Ochaco, she heads into town. In the dorms, one person each Friday cooks a homemade meal for the class. This turn it's Katsumi's and she's going to make her favorite dish: Shrimp stir-fry, but with an added kick to satisfy her tastebuds. She hasn't had the time to explore much, so she puts in the nearest store into her phone.

As she's walking, she sees Bakugo walking on the other side of the street. She debates on going over to him, but she didn't really feel like getting yelled at in front of a crowd. She silently watches him enter a manga shop.

"Hmm, never thought he could read." Katsumi thinks. She decides to walk on the other side, and pretend she's shopping there too. When she walks in, she sees Bakugo look at the All Might merch. He stares longingly at a figurine that has an expensive price tag on it. Katsumi heard that Bakugo comes from a well-off family, but it seems Bakugo doesn't have the money for it at the moment. Maybe he spent it on snacks. As he was leaving, Katsumi hides behind some shelves. She walks over to the figurine Bakugo was staring at. She smiles.

Katsumi walks out of the manga shop and heads to the grocery store. This was the entire reason why she's out in the first place. She grabs what she needs to cook dinner, and walks back to the dorms.

It's 6pm and Katsumi heads to the kitchen. Momo and Ochaco ask if they can help.

"Of course! Can you chop up those vegetables while I cook the shrimp?" Katsumi gives detailed orders to the girls. They do as she says, and 30 minutes later, the sweet aroma of shrimp fills the air.

"Go get everyone please." Katsumi pulls the food off the stove and puts it in dishes. She fills the counter with her homemade food as the rest of class 1-A fills the kitchen. Bakugo is the last to enter.

"Get as much as you want. I made plenty!" Katsumi wipes the sweat off her brow and washes her hands. She lets everyone go before her, and she grabs herself a plate. They all sit down at tables.

"This is soo good, Kat!" Ochaco exclaims. Katsumi allowed her closest friends call her that, because they're like family to her now. Everyone nods their head in agreement, except Bakugo.

"What's the matter? You don't like it?" Katsumi asks Bakugo.

Bakugo snorts. "Not spicy enough." Katsumi loves spicy food, so she loaded her food up with spice, but just enough to where it's still edible. Katsumi likes to think her spice tolerance it greater than others, so she's surprised that someone thinks it's not spicy enough.

"You could've told me that sooner. I would've put more in for you." Katsumi says.

"I didn't think you could handle it." Bakugo says arrogantly. The nerve of this guy. Even though it's not a big deal, Katsumi is offended. Bakugo doesn't even know Katsumi, and now he's assuming things? Katsumi gets up and goes in the kitchen. Everyone stared at her as she left.

She goes in the kitchen and grabs the spices she used and goes back to everyone else. She goes up to Bakugo's plate, and pours the entire bottle of spice on his food.

"Will this be spicy enough for you?" Katsumi isn't prone to pettiness, but this jackass is getting on her nerves.

"Hey! Why did you go and do that for?!" Bakugo gets up and yells.

"Thought you said it wasn't spicy enough?" Pettiness glows in Katsumi's eyes as she stares back at him. She turns to walk away. Everyone at the table was silent, and then erupted in laughter.

Bakugo's face goes red. "Be quiet morons, or I'll kill you!" That makes everyone laugh even more. He storms off.

"Man, you really know how to piss him off." Kirishima laughs.

"When you live with older brothers, you learn a few things."

As the rest of 1-A finish their food, Katsumi goes to her room. Regret washes over her. She shouldn't have embarrassed him like that, but he also deserved it.

As Bakugo was getting ready for bed, he opened his door when he heard a knock. When he opened it, no one was there except a plastic bag with a note loosely attached to it. He brings in the package and opens it. The All Might figurine that he wanted earlier is placed neatly inside the bag. He's baffled that someone knew he wanted this exact figure, but he didn't know who bought him for it. As he takes the figure out of the bag, he reads the note.

It reads: "I notice you."
