Today is moving day. Hear the joy in my voice ? No because it's not there.

I think I am the only one not happy with this transfer from home to a strange place. My twin brother, Dax, seems pretty gung-ho on the move. Probably to meet new girls he can hook up with.

My brother and I, while being twins, are as far from the same as possible. Where I am quiet and an introvert he is out going and a social butterfly. He doesn't seem too concerned about finding his mate he likes using his pretty boy looks to get with whoever he is interested in during that week.

So this move for him is just new girls and new hearts to break. If he wasn't my brother i would hate him for how he acts but he is the best brother anyone could ask for.

"Alright pups! Let's hit the road!" Dad calls from the back of the moving truck closing and locking it shut after putting away the last boxes

Marie runs up to me engulfing me in a big bear hug crushing the air out of my lungs

"We are gonna miss you"

"Lila and I will miss you guys too" I speak for my wolf and I

"Text me the whole time and call me everyday! When you find him tell him I will rip his throat out if he ever hurts you" she sobs

"I will. I love you!"

"I'll miss you too Dax" she leans over and hugs him, Dax returning one back to her.

Marie and I have been best friends since second grade so throughout the years it only made sense for her and Dax to form a friendship as well, not as strong as ours but still I know they will miss each other.

"I'll miss you Marie. I'm sorry I'm the one that got away" he winks at her with her retaliating by slapping his arm.

Marie takes no shit. This is why I love her. She is probably the only girl in all of California that didn't sleep with Dax and he hates it which makes me love it.

"In your dreams big boy"

We all laugh through our sad tears saying our last goodbyes to Marie. We head for the new pack, Blood Moon.

I've heard rumors of Blood Moon, the soon to be Alpha is a nineteen year old named Asher Daniels. Which is young for an alpha but after the passing of his mother his father couldn't take the loss of his mate he plans on handing down the title to his son.

Why my parents would want to move here of all places I'm not sure but I'm hoping they know what we are getting into.

We arrived in Blood Moon around lunch time the next day a warrior escorting us to the pack office to officially meet the Alpha and to get directions to the place we will be calling home from now on.

So far the rumors of Blood Moon are not accurate well at least about the pack members themselves. Everyone we have encountered so far has been very kind for the most part. I saw a group of girls around my age and I smiled and waved at them trying to make friends with them.

They laughed and turned away from me going back to there conversation but from bits and pieces I could tell it had shifted to about Dax and I.

I love when girls say how ugly I am and then turn around and say how hot Dax is. It's pretty contradicting. We look very similar we both have brown hair, green almond shaped eyes, our noses slightly upturned literally identical the only thing different about us is he is 5'9 and I'm 5'5 plus the boy girl thing but if I'm so ugly how is he smokin hot ? Make it make sense.
