We were walking back to my place since neither of us needed to drive to the location of the restaurant, with it being close to everything on the territory.

The sun had finally bid its last goodbye for the day a couple of hours ago so the moon was in full blast shining down lighting up our pathway.

"So what happened with those rogues from yesterday?" I spoke up trying to lessen the quietness

"Well we killed all of them but" he paused for a moment seeming like he was contemplating on furthering his sentence "Hunter and some pack guards found another one later that night wondering around the area"

Another one?

Fin could get hurt by all these rogues.

Arch will protect him Lila said vouching for our mates loyalty to all of us

"What happened to him?" I questioned looking up at an unreadable Alpha

"It was a female rouge" he looked towards me

A female rouge? It's rare to see a female rouge especially roaming around pack grounds. They don't typically leave the sight of  their male rouges for the one sole purpose, being the bearer of pups.

It's sad that women get downgraded to such depths where they are literally nothing but a body to them.

"What did you do to her?" My heartached for the she wolf who has probably been through the worst imaginable things only nightmares are made of.

"Um. Well, I let her stay in the pack for a while."

"Asher! That's so kind of you. Who knows what the poor girl has been through. Maybe Mr. Big bad Alpha has a heart after all" I gleamed at the idea of Asher helping the rouge out. I would have assumed he would torture her and kill her for trespassing on his land but he saw something in her and chose to help her instead of hurt her.

This is who I wanted to see. An Alpha taking after his father. He may still have a hard exterior and leader mentality but deep down he would care for others even if not they do not come from his own pack. He would open his arms to any wolf in need of a place who deemed worthy of helping and becoming apart of a pack.

The kind gesture he has shown the rouge brings me hope that maybe he truly has grown and matured. Maybe just maybe I could find it in me to actually try and work things out with him.

Asher hadn't spoke and became quiet.

"I think it's very grown of you" I stopped and got on my tippy toes to reach his height kissing his cheek making myself blush at my own unexpected actions.

"I just hope I didn't make a mistake" his words held truth behind them like he was worried something terrible would come from his choice in new pack member.

I dropped the conversation after telling him he could handle anything being one of the, if not the most powerful Alphas in the US.

We continued to walk and talk, lightening the mood up we talked about my time in SunMoon and funny stories of Finway while growing up.

I feel so guilty for keeping this secret of Fin from him for such a long time for my own selfish fears. I decided right here and now that if we are going to try to work on whatever it is that we have that I shouldn't hide things from him anymore.

Communication is key to a successful relationship.

Once the house was in view I could see a small black shaggy headed boy peaking through the living room window waiting for our arrival.
