Looking at the paper in my hand then to the numbers on the door. I can not find my class anywhere

"You seem lost" I husky voice scared me making me jump

"Woah woah little one didn't mean to scare you" he laughs "I'm Hunter, soon to be Beta. You must be Layla. Here let me help you find your classes today! I'll be your personal tour guide!"

He was breathtaking his eyes were a deep grey and his blonde hair swooped onto his forehead. You could tell how fit he was through the shirt he was wearing. It showed everything off. Boys in my pack were no where near as beautiful as he was or any of the other boys I have seen passing in the hallways. Must be something in the water. None of them were my mate though so it's all look no touch for me but this gives me hope on if my mate is in this pack he is probably smokin hot.

"You have 1st with Asher, Kailey and Brett 2nd and 4th with Rosie she's my mate she's amazing you will love her and Becca is in 4th with you. 5th you have with me and Asher. We also all have lunch together which is fun"

he rambled on quickly, not knowing any of the names he is spitting out to me other than Asher's.

I learned real quick who Kailey was. It only made since that she was the ring leader who I ran into this morning by accident. I took one step into the English room and if looks could kill id be dead as hell because she's shooting more death daggers at me. I don't know why but she does not like me one bit. I'm not sure if Asher showed up to class or not, not knowing what he looks like makes it difficult to tell. I didn't feel any alpha aurora radiating off of anyone like I did his father so it's safe to assume he didn't come in this morning.

Between first and second period I waited outside the room for Hunter to help escort me to my next class. While waiting someone bumped into way too hard to be an accident as they left the classroom not needed to look I already knew who did it. Kailey Summers

"Watch it fleabag" she hissed in my direction I growled at her as I stood up after gathering my books that hit the floor

"What's your problem." She got in my face as I spoke

"My problem is you. As future Luna I should get a say on who get to be apart of this pack and mutts like you don't cut it." Her 5'7 stature hovered over my small frame.

She was well built and if it wasn't for her bad attitude I would say she was very pretty. Her long blonde hair and big doe brown eyes I could see why she's the most popular girl in school she radiated power and strength.

"What's going on here Kailey?" Hunters voice broke up the space between us

"Nothing that concern you Beta" she turned on her heels and headed down the hallway. What a bitch. Hunter walked up to my and grabbed my books from my hands I thanked him for breaking up the altercation Kailey was trying to start

"Don't worry about her. She truly is harmless just a mean girl all bark no bite" he laughs at his own joke and I join in with him

"I just don't get why she doesn't like me I haven't done anything" shrugging I look up at him

"She feels threatened most likely you are new and a female. Asher hasn't found his true mate so since they are a thing he promised it to her." He grunted in annoyance
As we made our way to my next class

Nodding my head in understanding on why she is acting the way she is, she is self conscious that I'm gonna take the Alpha away from her. It funny even the most beautiful of girls could be jealous of simple little ol' me. I'm nothing special and I'm most definitely not going to be stealing anyone away from anyone.
