Carries Cafe was a hot spot for young wolves while I was growing up although my time in Blood Moon was short lived the group and I had come here often to get dinner.

It was exactly as how I remembered it very  small cute southern vibes with wood flooring and wicker tables scattered throughout the building a small counter to the left of the entrance stood tall, a bit worn but still welcoming nonetheless.

Looking around the room I spot Rosie and Hunter sitting at the table we always went to. Making my way to then Finway beating me to them

"AUNTIE RO! UNCY HUNTOR!" He jumped in hunters lap. Although they never met in person Finway knew who they were we would FaceTime and talk on the phone a lot.

"Hey baby!!" Rosie squealed hugging him showering him in kisses. Hunter gave him a little fist bump making Finway giggle in excitement.

Once the meet and greet was over. We began catching up. I telling them about our life and what we were up to recently also letting them know about what Marie had told Asher upon our arrival. Finway was too caught up in coloring on the kids menu to be aware of the private conversation we were having.

"What will you do when he finds out?" Hunters eyes went wide looking in my direction well maybe past my direction?

"I'm not sure honestly I haven't thought that far" I shrugged digging into my waffles I had ordered

"Well think quick because the time has come" Rosie whispered looking behind me.

I froze. To scared to turn around. I was not prepared for this. The scent of pine took over my nose. It's supposed to be Fins decision when not now not like this.

"Hey guys, Layla" Asher said pulling up a seat beside me "is this the Finway I learned about?" He leaned over looking at our son catching his attention, Fin looked up from his drawing and towards Asher.

"Hi! I'm Finway ! Who are you?" He raised an eyebrow cocking his head to the side at his father as he scooted closer to me

"I'm Asher I'm the Alpha of this pack. I'm your father's friend." He turned his attention to me then back to Finway

Finway made a funny face in confusion "you know my dad?"

Everyone was so focused on the two conversing with one another. I need to stop this now before something comes out I'm not ready for

"Yeah! We are very good friends just like me and your Aunt here" he motioned to me his hand dangerous close to my arm. Finway was about to say something but I stood up followed by Rosie

"I think it's time we go to the park!" Rosie screamed

"Yes Yes the park! Come on Finny let's go!" I picked up the very confused little boy into my arms Rosie and I running out of the diner leaving a dumbstruck Alpha and a very uncomfortable Beta.

Asher*

Walking into the cafe for breakfast I am met with the scent of my mate. Arch and I were over whelmed by the idea of her being back in BloodMoon even if it was for a short period of time. We had missed her so much.

I look around the room for her to find her seated with Hunter and Rosie and a small child he had to be around four or five years old.

Arch is pacing back and forth at the sight of our mate and this little pup. I needed to meet him. I don't know why but Arch was begging for us to go to them, so I did.

Sitting beside Layla and being overwhelmed with so many emotions I didn't know how to start off a conversation I greeted them all but addressing Layla personally.
