When I reached my room, I found my besties sitting there, waiting for me."Aena, what did she say? Who was he?" Mia asked, worry etched on her face.
I smiled knowingly. "Her boyfriend," I replied, watching as their jaws dropped.
"Wait... what? She didn't confess, right?" Soha asked skeptically.
"Not yet, but I know it's true," I said confidently. "This time, I'll gather proof."
"How?" Mia questioned, leaning forward in curiosity.
"Remember those boys talking about the party in the main hall tonight? It's hosted by the Durani brothers," I explained, a sly smirk forming on my lips. "I'm sure Fariha will be there with her so-called boyfriend. I'll capture their pictures as proof. Let's go to the party, dear sister."
I was sitting in the basketball court, absentmindedly dribbling a ball, when Shahab approached me with an ice pack.
"Hey, Mr. Handsome, this is for you. We can't have the girls mourning over your punched face," he teased, handing it to me.
I pressed it to my cheek, even though the pain wasn't much. I could've dodged that punch if I hadn't been caught off guard.
"My sister-in-law sure has guts to punch you," Shahab said with a chuckle.
