THIS WILL BE A LONG CHAPTER..... SORRY
(She was lost in her wish just then it came true, she saw a figure emerge behind her and it was him)
Angraj," she said, her voice barely above a
whisper. "I...I was just thinking about our walk in the garden, when we first met."
Karna's eyes softened, his gaze gentle. "Ah, yes. That was a pleasant afternoon."
Maya's cheeks flushed as she continued. "And today's coronation ceremony...I was thinking about that too."
Karna's expression turned curious. "What about the ceremony?"
Maya's heart skipped a beat as she met his gaze. "Just...just how proud I was to see you crowned. You deserve it."
Karna's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled. "Thank you, Maya. That means a lot coming from you. And I must say, I'm grateful for your...ah...prompting." He paused, his voice taking on a hint of warmth. "If not for you, I might not have received this honor."
Maya's confusion must have shown on her face, because Karna chuckled and clarified. "You placed the crown on my head, Maya. It was a significant moment for me."
"Angraj I have to admit even though it's the second time we are meeting You feel like a old friend"Karna's eyes sparkled with warmth as he smiled. "A friend, Maya? That's a precious gift. I'm glad we've become friends so quickly."
Maya nodded, her heart feeling lighter. "Yes, Karna. You're easy to talk to, and I feel like I can trust you. Even though we've just met twice, you feel like an old friend."
Karna's expression turned thoughtful. "I know exactly what you mean, Maya. Sometimes connections can transcend time and circumstance. I feel like I've known you for a long time too."
As they stood there, the sounds of the palace and the coronation celebrations faded into the background, leaving only the gentle hum of their newfound friendship.
Just as Maya and Karna were basking in the warmth of their newfound friendship, a gentle voice called out to Maya.
"Maya, Maya! Summons from Vriti!"
Maya's eyes widened in surprise as she turned to see one of Vriti's calling her
"I'm so sorry, Karna," Maya said, her voice apologetic. "I have to go. Vriti needs me."
Karna nodded understandingly, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Duty calls, I see. Go, Maya. We'll catch up soon."
Maya smiled and turned to leave, but not before Karna called out to her.
"Maya!"
She turned back to see Karna's warm smile.
"Take care, friend. May our paths cross again soon."
Maya's heart felt a little lighter as she smiled back at Karna and hurried off to answer Vriti's summons.
Well, it did last time," Maya said with a sly smile. "I'll be there when you need me, Karna."
Karna's eyes crinkled at the corners as he chuckled. "I'm counting on it, Maya. May the gods watch over you until we meet again."
"Remember, our friendship is a bond that transcends time and circumstance. Hold onto that, no matter what happens."
Maya's heart felt a surge of emotion as she nodded, the weight of Karna's words settling deep within her.
"I will . I promise."
And with that, Maya hurried off to answer Vriti's summons, leaving Karna to ponder the mysteries of their connection. This was a long chapter I'll make sure to reduce the length next time
I swear
