As the night wears on, Maya glances at the stars, her expression hinting at a subtle sadness. "I should probably get going," she says, her voice barely above a whisper.
Karna nods understandingly, while Ashwatthama rises to his feet, his movements graceful. "I'll walk you out," he says, his eyes locked onto Maya's.
As they stroll through the palace gardens, the night air is filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers. Maya and Ashwatthama walk in comfortable silence, their eyes occasionally meeting in a sparkling glance.
"I'll drop you home," Ashwatthama offers, his voice low and gentle.
Maya nods, her smile soft. "Thanks, I'd appreciate that."
Karna watches, a smile on his face, as Ashwatthama and Maya walk off into the night, their figures silhouetted against the starry sky.

KARNA'S PERSPECTIVE

As I watch Ashwatthama and Maya walk off into the night, I can't help but feel a mix of emotions. I'm happy to see my friends getting along, but a part of me feels left out, like I'm losing my connection with Maya.
I remember the way Maya's eyes sparkled when she talked to Ashwatthama, the way her smile lit up the night. I feel a pang of jealousy, wondering if I'll ever be the one to make her smile like that.
But as I look at Ashwatthama, I see the genuine interest in his eyes, the way he listens to Maya with such intent. I realize that he's a good person, and maybe, just maybe, he's the one who can make Maya happy.
I take a deep breath, pushing aside my doubts. I'm happy for my friends, and I know that I'll always be there for them, no matter what.
