*With Tim, it had only been a few minutes since his last POV*

He checked his phone again, finally deciding something was very, very wrong. His research had only confirmed as much; no one new had just moved into Lucy's apartment. Whoever had come to Lucy's apartment was lying, and had something to hide. He picked up his phone, calling Angela.

"Do you know what time it is?" She asked, clearly irritated.

"I'm sorry, but I wouldn't call if it wasn't important. I think something has happened to Lucy. I need you."

"I'll be there as soon as possible." Angela hung up, grabbing her gun and telling Wesley where she was going. Twenty minutes later she arrived at Lucy's apartment building and saw Tim pacing back and forth outside. She came over to him.

"Tim, what's going on?" She asked, worried.

"It's Lucy. I... I think she's been taken." Tim said, still pacing. Angela put a hand on his arm to center him and bring him back to the present.

"Tim, I need you to focus. What happened?" Angela asked softly.

"Lucy has been recieving these... letters. She has some sort of admirer, so I was there to keep an eye on her... make sure she was safe. And then this guy came, and she left with him. Why did I let her go?" Tim said, barely remembering to breathe. He was so angry with himself for not going with Lucy, maybe he could have stopped this whole thing from happening. Why did he always let this happen to her? He looked up at Angela, and she was looking at him expectantly. Clearly, he had missed something. "What?" He asked, agitated. He didn't have time for questions when Lucy was out there and needed him.

"Tim, did you see the man? A physical description, a name?" Angela repeated.

"N-No, I didn't see him. I don't... I don't know what he looks like." He said, racking his brain for anything. He looked up towards the building, as if he could see what happened. And them he saw them. "Security cameras. I bet we can track their movements from Lucy's door down to here." Tim said, pointing at one just above his and Angela's head.

Angela smiled. "Great. I'll contact the building owner and get the footage. We should have it in a few hours." She pulled out her phone, making the call. Tim sighed, angry. A few hours could be the difference between life and death for Lucy, and he just had to sit around and wait?! Angela got off the phone.

"Okay, the guy is pulling the footage right now. At this rate, we might have the footage even sooner than I thought. It seems that Lucy got on with the building owner quite well, so he's willing to give it to us as soon as possible."

Tim rolled his eyes, smiling. "Of course she did." Only Lucy would befriend they guy she pays rent to; at least it's benefitted her this time. "Maybe we should go back to her apartment. Her letters should be there, maybe we'll be able to get some DNA prints."

"Good idea." They headed up to Lucy's apartment but before they reached her front door, Angela notices blood in the hallway. "Tim..." She said, stopping in her tracks. Tim came up and stood next to her, seeing the same as her.

"Lucy."

"Tim, you don't know that. We're in LA, there's hundreds of reasons that there's blood in the hallway."

Tim looked at her and scoffed. "Come on, Angela. We need to get a sample."

"Yeah, but first we need to call Grey. This is officially suspicious circumstances." Angela said, frowning.

A few hours later, Sergant Grey and forensics were swarming Lucy's apartment.

"Why wasn't I informed the moment Officer Chen recieved the first note?" Grey asked, worried and irritated.

"Lucy only just told me, Sir. Believe me, I would have told you if I'd known." Tim said.

Angela came up to them. "Sir, I have the security footage. We can see Lucy and the guy she left with. I think there's a clear enough shot of his face so we might be able to pull up an ID if he's already in the system."

"With guys like this, he'll probably have stalked someone before so he may have a restraining order. Unfortunately, that's our best hope." Grey said.
