For the next few days, Lucy drifted in and out of consciousness whilst back in Mid-Wilshire Station the team tried to find her, but all their leads turned to nothing. Tim stayed hopeful, a raging fire burning within him urging him on to find Lucy even though people around him were starting to lose hope.
Meanwhile, Lucy was starting to forget her life, the drugs Tom gave her were starting to take full effect. Tom's face became the only one she recognised, so she clung to him, believing almost everything he said. However, somewhere in the back of her mind she knew something was deeply wrong, causing her to not fully trust him. During these days, Tom gives her the drug that makes her happy and takes photos of them together, making sure to change her clothes. He prints them out and hangs them around Rosalind's house to convince Lucy that she has a life here.
*With Tim*
Lucy's kidnapper had been identified in the police system as Tom Walker, a man with a history of stalking police officers and multiple restraining orders against him. Furthermore, there was footage of him dragging Lucy into his car. This guy clearly was not very careful about covering his tracks, as his car's licence plate was clearly visible which gave the police a home address of Tom. However, when they stormed his home there was no sign of him or Lucy and there was no clear sign of where they might be.
"Damn it!" Tim yelled, punching the closest wall to him.
"Tim, calm down! We need to go back to the station and find a new lead." Angela said.
"No. I haven't torn the place apart yet." Tim said, fiery determination in his eyes. He stormed into the house, and over the next few hours he searched the property rigorously, inspecting every reciept, every bill, in hopes of finding just one shred of information as to where Lucy is. Finally, he found something. "Angela, over here!"
She jogged over. "What did you find?" She asked. Tim showed her a piece of paper with an address scrawled on, and he instantly recognised it; it would forever be etched into his brain.
"Oh." She said, already knowing the impact this was going to have on Tim. "I'll send units over right now. But, Tim, I need you to know that you don't have to come. There's no shame in that."
"What? How could you even say that?" Tim said, outraged. His girlfriend was kidnapped, and he was expected to stay away?!
"Look, I know you're coming, okay? But I need to keep a level head. Lucy is going to need you at your best and focused."
"Yeah, yeah, I know. Let's go." He said, already jogging to an available shop.
"Tim!" Angela called after him, sighing and following close behind him. They drove in silence, Tim's tight grip on the steering wheel causing his knuckles to turn white. Angela looked at him, worried. If they found Lucy in a... Angela couldn't even bring herself to say it, but if Lucy was... dead, then Tim wouldn't be able to handle it. First Isabelle, now Lucy...
Soon, they arrived at Rosalind's uncle's house, and Tim felt his stomach drop. Just being back here... it brought up all the memories he had tried so hard to suppress. Angela came up next to him, putting a hand on his shoulder. "Don't get all Tim on me, but you don't have to come in. You can stay out here."
"No, I can't. She needs me, Angela. I have to be there." Tim said, his mind made up.
SWAT arrived, and they prepared to knock down the door. By this point, a lot of officers from Mid-Wilshire including Grey and Nolan. Tim took a deep breath, readying himself for whatever he might find inside.
