Stephie
Gideon has dragged Spencer and I out to LA to conduct a profiling seminar for the LAPD. We're spending the evening at an art showcase, looking around at all the pieces when we're approached by someone who went to high school with Spencer.
"Spencer! Spencer Reid!" He walks up to us calling out his name and instead of shaking his hand true guy hugs Spencer, which makes me laugh because he looks so uncomfortable.
"Dude, look at you! You look just the same, nothings changed." The guy chuckles and steps back to look at Spencer who furrows his brows has he puts his hands into his pockets.
"Spencer was the only twelve year old in our graduating class," He looks to Gideon and I and then back at Spencer. "Just the same,"
"Thanks," Spencer smiles awkwardly and then points to Gideon and I.
"This is special agent Jason Gideon, and special agent Stepheni Foster. This is Parker Dunley, we went to high school together as you can probably gather.." He ends his sentence much slower than how he started it, Spencer's a speed talker.
"It's a beautiful gallery," Gideon says shaking the man's hand.
"Nice to meet you," I smile at Parker when he shakes my hand and Spencer still looks confused as Parker talks about new upcoming artists in the exhibits.
"Lila," Park pauses mid sentence and we all turn our heads to see a beautiful blonde girl walk into the room. "Guys, come on." Parker waves us over towards the girl.
"Do I look twelve years old to you?" Spencer asks before he head over and I shake my head.
"Fourteen," Gideon says almost likes he's questioning it and then we begin to walk over while I hold back a laugh. How does he keep a straight face when he says these things?
"Spencer, I'd like you to meet a real movie star." Parker says and I come up to stand next to Spencer, the woman with the girl says something so can't hear too well and then gives off a fake smile.
"Hi, I'm Lila." The blonde girl holds her hand out and spencer surprising shakes it,
"Hi, I'm, uh, Im Dr. Spencer Reid," He stutters, a lot more than more. "Uh, I'm Spencer. You don't have to..call me doctor." He adds and that's when I hear a camera going off behind us. Parker yells at the guy and then chases him out of the gallery. The other woman who came in with Lila takes Gideon to see her work, leaving us three alone.
A woman carrying champagne glasses offers us one and Lila and I take it while Spencer declines.
"So, you're not from around here, are you?" Lila moves her hair out of her face and I raise my eyebrow at Spencer curious as to what he'll say.
"No, I'm uh," Spencer pauses and then points to me and then himself. "We're running a training service about profiling for the Los Angeles police department." Spencer explains and I sip on my champagne watching his sudden shyness get worse.
"Yeah, I'm with the behavioral analysis unit of the FBI. We're psychoanalyze crime scenes in order to gain a better understanding of the criminal who might have committed the crime." Spencer looks off the side, trying to avoid eye contact with Lila.
"Psychoanalyze..are you doing that to me right now?" She almost looks pissed off when she says this, it causes me to get more interested. Spencer looks at her with his big innocent eyes and shakes his head.
"What? No. I'm not psychoanalyzing you i just," Lila cuts him off with a smile plastered on her face, she likes him.
She likes him?
