Gabby's POV

Hello Beautiful ☺️ I wanted to see if you wanted to go to dinner tonight. Just me and you. I really wanna get to know you better. 😛

I thought about the text before replying. Was Jack Gilinsky actually asking me on a date?!

I replied back to his text saying:

Yes, I would love to go to dinner with you 😇

J: Awesome (: I'll pick you up tonight at 7?

G: Sure. I'll see you then. ☺️

*end of conversation*

I checked the time and it was 2:00. I had a couple hours until I needed to get ready. I decided to go for a quick run.

Aw shit. I just remembered I had school tomorrow. Great. New School. New people. I wonder how this is gonna go. At least I have Nicole with me.

Anyways, I changed into a green sports bra, matching black and green work out pants and then a cute Hollister muscle tee. I grabbed my phone and headphones.

"I'm going out for a run!" I shouted loud enough for my parents to hear.

I put in my head phones and as always, put my music on shuffle.

"All Hands On Deck" by Tinashe came on.

I quietly sang along.

A couple minutes later I heard someone say, "Nice voice you got there."

I turned around and saw Sammy behind me on his skate board.

"Hey Sammy." I smiled as I took out one of my headphones.

"What's up cutie?" i blushed.

"Nothing much just getting in some exercise." I said.

"Mind if I join you?" He asked.

"Sure. Just try to keep up." I winked.

Sammy and I had a really fun time. He was so freaking adorable.

"So whatcha up to tonight?" I asked him.

"Nothin much probably chillin with Nate." he answered me, "What bout you?"

"I'm actually going out with Gilinsky for dinner I don't know where."

I saw him look down at his feet, "That's cool."

I checked the time and saw it was 5:00.

"Sammy. I better be going. I had a lot of funwith you though. Text me?" I reached to give him a hug.

"Yeah I'll text you." He smiled at me then I began to walk back to my house.

By the time I got back it was 5:45. I began to get ready for my date with Jack.

I hopped in the shower and used my Lush Shower Jelly. All my bath products are from Lush to be honest.

After my shower I put on a white robe just so I can do my hair first. I brushed it out with a comb then blow dried and straightened.

I skipped over to my closet to pick out an outfit. I didn't want to look too fancy but I also wanted to look decent.

I ended up picking out a cute summery pink dress with a cut out back. I paired it with a pair of tan wedges. When I was done changing it was about 6:30. Jack should be here soon. I wonder where he's taking me. I can't even believe I'm going on a date with thee Jack Gilinsky.

I walked downstairs and saw my parents watching a movie on the couch.

They looked at me and my mom said, "Where are you heading off to?"

"Jack asked me to dinner." I twirled around in excitement.

"Gilinsky?" My dad asked.

"Yes! Crazy Huh?"

"Don't stay out too late Gabby, you have school tomorrow." My mom reminded me. Ugh I did not wanna go to school.

"I won't." I winked.

There was soon a knock at the door. I smiled knowing it was Jack. Right on time too. It was 6:59.

I walked over to open the door to see a nicely dressed up Gilinsky. He was wearing a nice collar shirt with dressy pants.

"Wow." was all he said, "You look amazing."

I blushed, "You don't look too bad yourself."

"You must be Jack." My dad came to the door.

"I am. Are you Gabby's dad?" Jack asked my dad.

"Yes I am." My dad responded.

"Nice to meet you sir." They shook hands.

"Have her home by 11." My dad gave me a hug and we were out the door.

Jack opened the passenger side door of his Jeep and let me step in before closing the door. I'm actually in The Gilinsky Jeep. It was always one of my dreams for Jack to take me for a ride in his jeep.

"So where are we heading to?" I looked at him as he started the car.

"I want to take you to this really nice cafe near Malibu. Then maybe a little walk on the beach." He put his hand on my leg.

"I would really like that." I told him.

"Sweet." Jack turned the radio on and "Show Me" by Kid Ink ft Chris Brown came on.

"I love this song!" We both said at the same time. We both laughed.

"I like your music sense." I said.

"Apparently you have an amazing music taste if you listen to me." He joked.

I laughed and shook my head as we kept singing along.

We finally arrived at the Cafe. It was super cute.

Jack went up to the hostess.

"Your name?" She asked.

"Gilinsky." He replied.

"Right this way." She led us both to a table out of the cafe right next to the beach. I could smell the ocean water. I loved that smell.

"So do you go to school?" Jack started a conversation.

"Yeah I'm actually starting my senior year tomorrow." I laughed.

"Really? So am I."

"Where at?"

"Taft Park High School."

"You're joking. I'm going there too."

"Well then that's great. I'm glad that there's another person I know that's gonna be there." I felt a big relief.

"Not just me. Johnson's gonna be there and so is Sammy and Nate." Jack said excitedly.

"This is gonna be a really good year." I smirked, "You know, girls are gonna be all over you at school."

"They might. But I only have my eyes on one."

"And who's that?" I raised an eyebrow.

"You." He winked at me.

That one word put the biggest smile on my face.
