Izuku hummed a little tune as he walked back home after a fun afternoon with Keigo and Touya at the café. He carefully twisted the doorknob and snuck inside. After making sure his parents were no where to be seen, he tiptoed to his room, so that he wouldn't make any noise and bother them. He didn't want to give them another reason to punish him again so soon. He was just a few feet from his bedroom door when he felt a hand on his shoulder. He froze and held his breath in anticipation.

"Izuku." His dad hissed menacingly, his voice low and dangerous. "We need to talk."

"Um..." Izuku turned around, his legs shaking. "Wh-why? I got home at a reasonable time, just like you w-wanted."

"That's not what I need to speak to you about." His dad growled. "Now, could you explain to me why a pro hero was talking to your mom today?"

"Uh, n-no, I don't." Izuku stared at his feet, unwilling to look at his father's angry expression.

"Oh really?" He spat, stepping closer. "Because she told me that he had been talking about you. More specifically about how he found you hurt last night. Does that ring a bell?"

"I...I remember now." Izuku mumbled, glancing up at his dad, fear in his eyes.

"Oh, you do, huh? And what do have to say about it?" He was now standing in front of Izuku, towering over him as he grabbed the front of his shirt and shook him angrily. "Did you tell him anything?! I swear, if you said something you'll regret it for the rest of your pathetic life."

"I d-didn't s-say a-a-anything!" Izuku wailed, trying but failing to escape from his father's grip. "I l-lied to him! I p-promise!"

"You better have, or you'll be living in a world of hurt, boy!" His father growled, harshly shaking him once more, pushing him to the ground. "I want you home immediately after school from now on."

"Wh-what?" Izuku whispered, using his arms to push himself up, softly hissing as pain laced through them.

"You heard me." His father crossed his arms and frowned at his son. "Or are you deaf? I don't want you wandering off doing whatever it is you do after school. You are to come home right after school from now on. Do you understand? Or do I need to make you understand."

Izuku shook his head, his eyes wide with fear. He felt tears form at the thought of no longer being able to see Touya and Keigo. What would he do without his big brothers? He didn't know if he could handle it.

"Now, go to your room. I don't want to see your face anymore." His father hissed. "Pathetic, useless monster."

Izuku almost didn't hear the last part, but he did. He held back his tears just long enough for him to make it to his room, but as he was opening the door, his father grabbed his wrist and yanked him back.

"Just where do you think you're going?"

"G-going t-to m-my room, like y-you said." Izuku whispered, tears streaming down his face.

"Oh, so now you're crying? What a crybaby." His father snarled, tightening his hold on Izuku's wrist, causing him to whimper.

"You're not sleeping there tonight." His father dragged him down the hallway until they were standing right outside the supply closet. "You've been very disobedient lately. Consider this your punishment'." He opened the door and shoved Izuku inside. "This will be your room for the next week. Get used to it."

Izuku began crying harder as his father slammed the door in his face.

"And stop that crying, or I'll give you something real to cry about!" His father shouted, kicking the door.
