Blood, Sweat and Tears

The first thing Izuku realized when he woke up was that it was cold. He let out a whine as he blindly reached out for a blanket or any sort of warmth, but found nothing. He curled up in a ball and began to cry. He couldn't seem to remember where he was or why he was here. At first, he assumed that his dad had locked him up in the closet again, but when he finally opened his eyes he immediately knew that he was not. It should have been a relief, but instead his heart raced as he began to panic. His heartbeat quickened once the memories of the past few days hit him. He let out a cry and began to beg for his brother.

"Keigo! Keigo! I'm scared! Where are you?" He cried, digging his nails into his legs as he rocked back and forth in attempt to comfort himself.

He let out a gasp of surprise when the door opened. He scrambled to a corner of the room began to shake with terror when one of the men from yesterday walked in.

"Get up, brat." The man hissed.

Izuku flinched back. It was the tall scary man with the cold hands. He began to cry when the cold man approached him and yanked him up from the floor, and then proceeded to slap his face. Izuku reeled back in surprise, so shocked that he stopped crying.

"That's what you get for being disobedient." The cold man growled, tightening his grip on Izuku's already sore arm.

Izuku tried to silence his whimpers of pain as the cold man practically dragged him out of the room. After a few minutes of walking through the building Izuku finally mustered up the courage to ask him a question.

"Wh-when can I s-see Keigo?"

He immediately regretted asking when the cold man turned to glare at him.

"Shut up, brat. I didn't give you permission to speak."

Izuku began to tear up once again. He knew he was being pathetic. He had endeared treatment like this for three years and he still can't take it without crying. No wonder his dad called him a crybaby.

"In here." The cold man roughly shoved Izuku into what looked like a very large training room. It was what he imagined heroes would train in. For the first few seconds he just stood in awe of the room before him, but he wasn't standing for much longer.

Izuku let out a shocked cry as he was harshly shoved, causing him to fall to the floor.

"Get in! Don't just stand there like an idiot! You're driving me crazy!" The cold man yelled.

Izuku scrambled to his feet and rushed into the room, his heart beating so fast he thought he might faint.

"Now, it's time for your training to begin." A new voice declared.

Izuku whipped his head around to find who the voice belonged to. It didn't take him long to spot the other man from yesterday. He decided that he would call him the dark man because he wore so much black.

"You are going to be sparring him," the man pointed to the cold man, "and myself."

"B-but I'm s-so little! I c-can't fight you b-both!" Izuku stuttered, scared out of his mind.

"B-b-b-but you will." The dark man mocked, walking towards him. "And I'm going to enjoy it."

The cold man smirked, and immediately the room's temperature dropped. Izuku started to shiver.

"Now, let's get started, shall we?"

Keigo hadn't stopped screaming curses from the moment he was thrown into this small room. He hoped that Izuku was given better treatment, but he knew that that was just wishful thinking.

He eventually slumped to the floor and place his head in his hands. What a disaster. He banged his fists onto the floor in frustration. He wished that they had kept him and Izuku together, then he would know if he was okay or not. He sat their in despair a few more minutes until he eventually fell asleep.

He was rudely awoken by a loud banging at the door. He slowly opened his eyes and stood up on unsteady legs.

"I'm up. I'm up." He groaned, rubbing his eyes. He looked up when, Kana Hayashi, the sapphire woman and the most powerful person in the Hero Commission, opened the door, a frown on her face.

"Get up."

"I am up." Keigo sassed with a glare. He walked up to her, his fists raised. "Where is Izuku?"

Kana stared at him, clearly unimpressed as she gave him a sly grin. "Oh, he's training right now."

Keigo's face went pale. "T-training? B-but I thought I was training him!"

She smirked at him. "Yes, but you are only training him to control his quirk. He has other trainers, you know."

Keigo slammed his fist into the wall just narrowly missing her face. "You liar! You told me that I was training him!"

Kana tilted her head, feigning an innocent look. "But I never told you what his training would be like or how much of the training you would be participating in. Just be grateful that you get to see him at all. I could have you removed from this assignment this very second."

"I hate you!" Keigo screamed in her face, knowing very well that she had the power to ruin him if she wished.

"Why so upset?" Kana asked with a frown. "You can see your precious brother soon. Be grateful that I'm even allowing that."

"I'm upset because I know what you will do to him! Because you did it to me too!" Keigo yelled, his face red with anger. "You are a monster!"

"I'm okay with that." Kana crossed her arms. "I'd rather be a monster than be weak."

"I want to see him." Keigo demanded with a growl.

Kana sighed, shaking her head. "I really don't know why I'm doing this, but okay. You can see him. He's about ready for your training anyways." Kana walked back towards the door, and then looked back. "Are you coming or not?"

Keigo followed her and was unsurprised when she lead him to a section of the Commission that he was unfortunately very familiar with. It was the place where they had trained him as a child. He shuddered at the memories that resurfaced.

He was glancing around at the different doors to large training rooms, each with large windows to see through. His eyes widened with horror when he noticed who was in one of those rooms. His precious baby brother was in the largest training room there, being brutally beaten by the two men from yesterday who were yelling at him to try harder.

"You pathetic little brat! Are you even trying?" One yelled.

"I can't think of a reason why Kana would want you here. You are useless! I don't know why we wasted a penny on you!" The other shouted.

Keigo was about ready to barge in there and rip their heads off, when Kana walked into the room.

"Settle down boys. We can't have our new recruit broken already." Kana grabbed one of the men's arms to stop him from striking Izuku. "Give him a break."

Keigo ran into the room without another thought, ignoring the yells behind him. He rushed up to Izuku who was crying, "K-Keigo! K-keigo!"

He carefully pulled Izuku into his arms and whispered sweet nothings into his ear.

"Shh Izuku. Keigo's here. You're big brother is here." Keigo carded his hands through Izuku's bloody curls. "Oh baby, what did they do to you?"

Izuku body shook as he wept into Keigo's chest. "I w-want to g-go h-home, Keigo!" He whined, clutching Keigo's shirt. Keigo rocked Izuku back and forth, blocking out the protesting voices.

Keigo knew that he would get in big trouble for this, but he couldn't bring himself to care. Right now all he cared about was caring for his little brother.

In that moment he promised himself that the Hero Commission would go down in flames for what they had done.

Nobody got away with hurting his little bird. No one.
