"Izuku." His dad said, his eyes glowing red. "We need to talk."
Izuku froze, his eyes went wide in horror. He was in so much trouble. This would not end well for him. He began to take a few steps back, but stopped when his father glared at him.
"Come here, Izuku. It's not polite to walk away from your father when he's trying to talk to you."
Izuku gulped and shuffled a little closer, his eyes closed tightly, waiting for the heavy blow he knew was coming.
"Why so scared?" His dad cocked his head as he glared at him.
"I-I'm n-n-not s-scared." Izuku whispered, his hands shaking.
Izuku began to shake even more as his father stood up and walked closer to him.
"You know," He began, his hand caressing Izuku's cheek, "I really hate when you lie to me."
Izuku shivered, his body filling with dread. It was coming. The heat, the wretched burns that would scar his arms and back. He whimpered.
"Quiet!" His dad yelled. "Take off your shirt."
"Wh-what?" Izuku took a step back, his whole body shaking with fear and unease.
"I said, take. Off. Your. Shirt." His dad growled. ""Oh forget it."
Izuku let out a surprised screech when his dad surged forward and ripped off his shirt. He tugged Izuku towards him and harshly unwrapped his cramped wings. Izuku whimpered as his wings began to severely cramp up as they were set free. His cried grew loudly as his father tugged them out to their full length.
"Where were you tonight? Where did you run off to?" His dad screamed, curling is hands around Izuku's sensitive wings.
"I-I w-w-was just t-taking a walk!" Izuku cried. "P-p-please s-stop!"
"You were running off to tell someone weren't you?" His dad sneered, twisting his wings causing Izuku to cry out in pain.
"N-n-no!" Izuku sobbed. "N-no! I d-didn't! I p-promise!"
"What reason do I have to believe you?" His dad was radiating anger now. "It was that hero wasn't it? That hero that came over here and talked you your mom?" When he recieved no answer, Hisashi snapped his wing in half causing Izuku to scream. "Tell me the truth Izuku!"
In that moment Izuku was in so much pain that he couldn't bring himself to answer even if he wanted to. His breathes were short and fast and black spots danced in his blurry vision. He felt like he was going to pass out at any moment.
"Fine! If you won't answer then I'll just have to punish you, won't I?" His dad snarled, grabbing the strips of cloth that lay on the floor. Izuku gasped in pain as he felt his dad rewrap his wings harshly and tightly. He felt like he couldn't breathe. One sharp tug on his broken wing, and Izuku was out like a light, and suddenly all darkness was all there was.
Izuku groaned as he opened his eyes. Once he was fully aware he struggled not to scream. Both his wings were tightly bound to his back. His broken wing hurt so much Izuku didn't know how he would be able to function today. He began to cry as he stood up from the floor. He looked out the window and noticed that it was morning already. He needed to get ready for school. He didn't want to stay in this place longer than he had to.
As he was getting dressed he noticed a note on his dresser. It said: If I get any calls from the school about you today, what I did to you last night is nothing compared to the pain you'll feel tonight. - Hisashi.
Izuku shivered as he ripped up the piece of paper and threw it in the trash.
Once he was dressed for school, which hurt more than he'd liked, he grabbed his backpack and headed out the door. Walking was very difficult, in fact just existing was hard. His wing was throbbing constantly. His dad had been madder than he had ever seen him, and that was saying something. Izuku sniffled the whole way to school. He hoped that Hitoshi didn't get suspicious about his behavior today. He would also have to avoid Keigo and Touya. He had told Touya that he would see them today, but now he couldn't see how that would work. They were sure to notice that something was wrong, and Izuku could not handle another beating from his father so soon.
Once he made it to school he noticed Hitoshi leaning on the brick wall at the entrance. He perked up immediately upon noticing Izuku. Izuku smiled hesitantly and waved. He hoped Hitoshi didn't notice the pain he was in. He hoped he could pull this off, but unfortunately, things don't usually go Izuku's way.

Hitoshi was twiddling his thumbs as he waited for his best friend to arrive. He was so happy to have found a friend. His parents had been so worried about him. They would always ask him, "So have you made any friends yet, Hitoshi?" And he would always sigh and tell them, no he hadn't. But when he had told them about Izuku they had been over the moon. They were so happy for him. They begged him to bring his friend over sometime. Hitoshi grinned as he thought about his new friend, and then his grin widened when he finally noticed said friend heading his way.
"Izuchan! Hey!" Hitoshi waved excitedly at his friend. His smile faltered when he noticed Izuku's hesitance. Once Izuku was close enough to him Hitoshi noticed that something wasn't right.
"Izuku?" Hitoshi tilted his head as he looked over his friend with concern. "Are you okay?"
"Y-yeah. M' fine." Izuku mumbled, avoiding Hitoshi's gaze.
Hitoshi's eyebrows furrowed when Izuku let out a hiss and stumbled a bit before regaining his footing.
"Let's go to class."
"No. Come with me. We'll go to class later." Hitoshi grabbed Izuku's hand and began to drag him to the bathroom. "They won't miss us."
"Wh-where are you t-taking me." Izuku asked, his body trembling.
Hitoshi led him into the bathroom and closed the door. After making sure that no one else was in the room, he turned to his friend.
"You're hurt."
"N-no I'm n-n-not." Izuku stammered, his eyes flitting around nervously.
"You are. I can tell." Hitoshi's eyes softened. "Hey." He took Izuku's hand gently. "I'm not going ot hurt you. I just want to help you."
"You c-can't."
Hitoshi felt his heart crack at the pitiful sight of his friend. He hated when Izuku cried, which was a lot. It always made him feel so sad.
"Hey, don't cry." Hitoshi said softly. "Please, let me help you."
Izuku sniffed, but finally nodded. "O-okay, b-but you c-can't tell a-a-anyone."
Hitoshi hesitated, but nodded in agreement. "Okay, I won't."
"My back." Izuku whispered, wincing as he slumped to the floor.
Hitoshi's hands shook as he helped Izuku take off his shirt. He gasped when he noticed all the bandages that wrapped around his back tightly. His eyes widened when he noticed blood bleeding through the white cloth. He carefully unwrapped the bandages and what he saw caused him to take a step back.
"Izuku." He breathed, still in shock. "You're not quirkless, are you?"
