Vi had sat on the sofa of the castle's living area. She sipped on the herbal tea as Viktor walked in. "I must see myself out," he said to her.
"I don't believe you would have to tell me that, sir," the Noble said. "I do not have authority over you. But, yes, of course. Thank you kindly for calling in the doctor."
"Absolutely. He is the best of the best." Then the man was gone.
After the loud click of the door sounded through the halls, a soft voice spoke, "Violet," it said.
Vi looked up to see the Princess standing at the top of the staircase. The sun shined through the window, adding a revolving effect around her. The Noble jumped up from the sofa and run up to a tight embrace. "I told you the tea would work," she said into Caitlyn's shoulder.
"You came back," The Princess said.
"I hope you didn't believe that I was leaving you for good."
"You made it seem that way."
"No. I was just afraid."
"Violet, I would never let anything happen to you. You know that. The Parliament holds no power over you nor I. I will have the highest authority."
"Will. You must get your crown first."
They pulled away from the hug, Caitlyn's arms wrapped around Vi's neck, the Noble's arms around her waist.
"There's something else that we must do first." The Princess said.
"And what is that?" Vi asked.
"Well, we must wed first. They will not crown me if I have a love interest that I am not married to."
"Is this you proposing to me, Your Highness?"
"It is as long as you're accepting it. I want you in my life, Violet."
The Noble didn't say anything in response. She just moved her face towards Caitlyn's, taking in the soft porcelain lips she missed so dearly. Although, once they wandered too deep into the kiss, they weren't allowing each other to move from their position. If they were to continue their rendezvous upstairs, they would be threatened with separation just because they would have to part to travel to the bed chambers.
Vi picked the Princess up and placed her onto the edge of the banister. One of her hands supported her, the other having a mind of its own. The hand slowly moved up Caitlyn's night gown, immediately coming into contact with this destination. The Princess gasped at the sudden warmth, her hands gripping the back collar of the Noble's button up.
The Noble moved her hand closer, running two of her fingers through the valley of wetness between Caitlyn's legs. Vi buried her face into the Princess's neck, planting gentle kisses as her fingers slowly found their way inside to Caitlyn's core.
The Princess released a heap of beautiful moans that blessed Vi's ears. "My Queen," the Noble said in response.
That made the moans grow louder. A combination of pleasure by Vi's fingers mixed with pleasure by Vi's words. Caitlyn felt as if she were about to collapse from her touch.
"Say it again," the Princess whispered.
"Say what exactly? That you're my Queen?"
"Yes. Keep saying it."
The Noble smirked in amusement, curling up her now moist fingers. She felt Caitlyn's legs closing around her forearm. Vi moved her lips towards the Princess's ear, kissing and biting the edges. She occasionally whispered "you're my Queen" in Caitlyn's ear as her fingers continued their exploration.
Vi pulled removed her fingers from the wetness right before Caitlyn reached her climax. She then moved her thigh in between the Princess's legs. She had her hand placed at the nape of Caitlyn's neck, allowing her to come undone on her thigh. They shared a sloppy kiss as the Princess held Vi close once she reached her climax.
Caitlyn nuzzled her face into Vi's neck, feeling the Noble's strong arms wrap around her waist. She panted, her breaths tickling Vi's skin a bit.
"I fear there are no words that can describe how much I missed you," Caitlyn said. She planted gentle kisses along Vi's jawline. "It feels like years since I last held you like this. Have you no clue how much I craved you? I thought I'd never be able to hold you again... to feel you hold me..."
Vi gently kissed the top of Caitlyn's head, as she held her tightly as if this were the last time. This wasn't the last time. Vi told herself that over and over again so that she wouldn't create the same error she once had. She found it hard to live with herself after hearing about Caitlyn becoming bedridden with "illness." Then she had to wake up, remembering how she left the woman. Her own arrogance cost her own paradise. And that paradise was Caitlyn.
"I love you— I am in love with you." The Princess said to her.
The voice blessed her ears over and over again. It always had. The smooth accent, the gentleness and the beauty of the face it came from. All Vi could do was help Caitlyn off the banister and guide her to the bed chambers.
The room was full of different shades of purple and blue. There was a couple steps, leading down into the crevice that held the canopy bed. The mattress remained cool during the warm months due to the amount of satin that covered it.
The two women held each other for hours. They didn't sleep, they just had their arms and legs tangled together in an unfixable knot. Caitlyn had her arms wrapped around Vi's neck, a leg being used to keep her close. Vi had her face resting on Caitlyn's chest, her arms wrapped around her waist. They were comfortable. They didn't move, they just whispered sweet nothings back and forth to each other for hours and hours. They had nothing bothering them. Almost as if they were the final living thing on the planet.
Their day's hours turned into the night's hours. The two of them finally fell asleep.
