"Ah crap! Where the hell could she be?!" Denji said to himself as he walked around in the darkness, trying to find you. The space seemed endless, and he knew he was running short on time. He then saw something in the distance- moving.
"Y/N!" He yelled out and ran towards the thing that he thought was you- but it turned out to be.. a heart? It was gigantic. 'This must be the heart of the devil!' He thought to himself. He then used his chainsaws, cutting right trough the devil's heart "DIE!"
Blood splattered everywhere, showering over Denji. He heard a loud scream coming from the devil, echoing troughout the whole endless void and making the space shake as if an earthquake struck it.
"Huh? Denji is that you?" You asked as you suddenly ran up to him out of nowhere
He turned to you "Y/N! Yeah its me! Now lets get outta here!"
You wanted to question him why the fuck he looked like a human chainsaw, but you decided that you should save it for another time.
"But i dont see an exit..." You said as you looked around the dark space.
"Then we'll just have to make one! Come on!" He then gave into a run, and so did you. He tried to find any edges, or any ends of this place. A wall, anything he can slice trough. It seemed like you two were running forever. You suddenly noticed the place was starting to narrow, due to the devil dying. Or more accurately, you felt it squashing you slightly
"Uhh Denji! I think we might get turned into a pulp if we dont get out soon.." you said worriedly
"We wont, i've got this!" He finally managed to find a wall and he let out a yell as he cut trough it with his chainsaws, causing the wall do seperate on the place of the cut. You could see the light coming from outside and Denji jumped out first, with you following suit. Denji managed to land safely but however, he forgot that you will most likely die from the jump-
"Oh crap!" He retrieved his chainsaws and he stood where you were supposed to land, waiting to catch you
"Kon!" Aki's voice echoed and Kon appeared, with you landing safely on the Fox Devil's head.
You were a bit surprised at first, and the devil's fur was rather soft. It would usually open its mouth and trap the certain being in it, but this time it didnt seem to do that. It made sure to ground you safely, and despite Kon being a devil, you gave the fox a little pat as a thanks. The devil seemed unhinged and then it dissapeared.
Aki sighed in relief, and Power went up to you and hugged you "Y/N you're alive!"
Aki narrowed his eyes slightly "Power, you practically laughed at her possibly dying minutes ago-"
"I did no such thing!" She frowned and turned her head to Aki
Denji however seemed rather jealous that he couldnt be the one to catch you instead of Aki "That jerkface.. he just had to steal the spotlight..." He murmured to himself
After you finished hugging Power Aki approached you "Are you okay? No injuries?" Aki asked, inspecting you
"No, im good." You reassured him and then turned to Denji
"Oh and, Denji.. Thanks for saving me" You then hugged him, and he was taken aback. His face turned dusty pink but he hugged you back, enjoying the feeling "Yeah, no problem.." You two parted and he smiled proudly 'Well, atleast i got a hug..'
Aki sighed "Well, now that that's settled.. Lets patrol around the streets a bit more. And then we'll go back to Public Safety to give our reports." He suggested as he lit up a cigarette.
