Jungwon came back home with a heavy heart. Sunoo and Heeseung must be waiting for him, and all he could say was that they needed to wait two more days until the solution was ready. It was already around six in the morning and he doubted if they were awake. It would take them another day to go to Sunghoon. As he entered, he saw Heeseung sitting on the couch, his face etched with concern.

Heeseung stood up with a sigh upon seeing Jungwon.

"How did it go?" Heeseung asked, his voice tinged with anxiety.

Jungwon shook his head slightly and replied, "They said we need to wait two more days to get it."

Heeseung's frown deepened. "Two more days? We don't have that kind of time," he muttered under his breath.

Jungwon glanced around, noticing the absence of Sunoo. "Where's Sunoo?" he asked.

Heeseung hesitated for a moment before responding, "That's what I wanted to talk to you about. There might be a bigger problem."

Jungwon's concern grew. "What do you mean?"

Heeseung took a deep breath and began to explain, "Sunoo has been acting weird since he came back after meeting Youngjae. When I asked him about it, he just brushed it off and said he was just missing me. But I think there's more to it. We need to be aware and keep an eye on him."

Jungwon felt a chill run down his spine. "why are we even so afraid of Park Youngjae?isn't he Sunghoon hyung's older brother?"

Heeseung nodded. "it dosen't matter Jungwon-ah, Sunghoon dosen't remember him, Youngjae dosen't think like us, he has betrayed me, and. . . .he tried to kill you too, I know you remember."

Jungwon leaned his head on the back of the couch and closed his eyes taking a deep breath.

"You said he wasn't always like this, if he were, why would you ever fall for. . . ." Jungwon looked at Heeseung who was still standing beside."I'm sorry"

Heeseung let's out a breath "he means nothing anymore, atleast to me, to us." He says more to himself than to the younger.

"Anyways, Jungwon, I need you to inform Ni-ki to be aware of a possible attack alright?" Heeseung's tune suddenly turns serious which makes the younger jerk his head up.

"you think something will seriously happen?"

"we have to be careful."

Jungwon just nods. He dosen't know much anyways, it's always been better to trust Heeseung. He knew the most among them, he can protect them and if he is alerted, then Park Youngjae must mean something.

---------------

It was now morning, around 9 AM, and today was the weekly hunter's training day. It was a free day for the werewolves, so they had no training. Ni-ki and Jay were engaged in various exercises including shooting, running, and fighting skills.

Despite the intense training, Jay's mind kept wandering to this one lone figure on the sidelines—a pretty wolf, who seemed completely zoned out, away from the other werewolves.

Jay wondered why Sunghoon even had the audacity to side a vampire when he was this weak. The whistle blew, signaling a break, jolting Sunghoon out of his trance. Jay turned to look at the younger wolf, and their eyes met briefly. Jay kept looking, he expected the younger to atleast smile at him?

Sunghoon was the first to look away, focusing instead on his worn-out sneakers before zoning out again.

Jay walked over to a nearby bench and sat down, taking a moment to rest and gather his thoughts.
