A/N: ~3800 words. I want to update every two days but something happens and it postpones. Anyways, enjoy! this is the logest chapter so far.

The sky was painted with hues of orange and pink as the sun began its descent towards the horizon, casting a golden glow over the tranquil sea. The sound of gentle waves lapping against the shore was soothing, creating a peaceful ambiance. Jay was sitting on a soft patch of grass, his fingers gently caressing the hair of the one lying on his lap.

"It's pretty, isn't it?" Jay asked, his voice soft and filled with warmth.

He looked up at Jay with a tender smile, their eyes reflecting the colors of the sunset. "You are prettier," they replied, their voice filled with affection.

Jay chuckled at the compliment, a warm feeling spreading through his chest. He felt a profound sense of happiness and contentment, as if all the troubles of the world had melted away in this perfect moment. He looked down at him, feeling blessed to have him in his life.

"I hope fate is kind, I don't want to be separated from you." the boy lying on his lap said, his voice tinged with a hint of sadness.

Jay was about to respond, to reassure him, when everything started to dissolve. The beautiful scene of the sunset and the sea faded away, the softness under his hands was no more.

"I will aways love you"

Jay woke up with a start, breathing heavily. His heart was pounding, and his head throbbed with pain. He found himself lying inside a dimly lit cell, the cold, hard floor. He could feel the sting on his neck, a reminder of the vampire's bite, and his eyes burned as he tried to adjust to the darkness.

Beside him, Ni-ki was asleep, his body curled up in a corner. Jay's first instinct was to check if he was okay, but his own body protested with every movement. He gingerly touched his neck, feeling the sore, punctured skin.

The cell was small and cramped, with iron bars that seemed to close in on him. The air was damp and cold, carrying the faint smell of mold and decay. It was the same cell they kept the caught vampires in.

Jay's mind raced as he tried to piece together what had happened. The attack, the overwhelming number of vampires, the desperate battle – it all came flooding back.

"Hyung, you're awake," Ni-ki's voice was hoarse .

Jay tried to sit up. "What happened?" he asked, his voice weak.

"The vampires are all here," Ni-ki said, sitting up and leaning his back on the wall. "We are locked inside these cells, all the remaining hunters are locked too."

"Commander Yoon?" Jay asked his voice nervous.

Ni-ki shook his head slowly. "he was turned." The younger's eyes moved to Jay's neck. How am I supposed to tell you?

"We need to regroup," Jay said, his voice resolute despite his pain. "We can't let this happen."

The younger sighed. "No hyung, no."

"Why?"

"we cannot. They are all here, and they are plenty, we don't have a chance at them, we can just wait." Ni-ki tried to ground the older.

"wait for what? They'll kill us"

Ni-ki shook his head. "I have some friends, or maybe I can call them allies? they may help us."

"You know more hunters from Busan centre?" Jay's eyes widened, but in relief and hope.

"They are vampires."
