Gwen is a goth girl and loner whose interests lie in art and astronomy. She is smart, independent, kind-hearted, and level-headed, stating her best quality is her inability to get excited over minuscule things. Her attitude at first seems very harsh and sarcastic, but she is not a bitter person. Rather, she is cautious of whom she lets into her life. Beneath her tough exterior, there is a kind heart that learns to trust as the series progresses. Gwen's guard lowers with each season. Despite her distaste for whatever "the sheep" are fond of, she does desire to be welcomed by the popular crowd. she distances herself from it because she believes it is not where she belongs. She isn't afraid to stand her ground should her take a hit. Gwen also suffers from claustrophobia. She believes strongly in karma and is also a huge fan of horror movies, the clichés of which will sometimes dictate how she performs in challenges.

Her parents divorced when she was still young, which proved to be a struggle for her at the time, and was one of the reasons she became the goth girl she is today.
She still to this day gets along nicely with her brother overall, even if they don't always see eye-to-eye.
Her favorite genre is emo/punk, and many of her favorite bands include the likes of Sunny Day Real Estate, American Football, Brand New, AFI, Sorority Noise, Jimmy Eat World, and The Wonder Years. She also likes some post-hardcore groups like Circa Survive, The Used, La Dispute, The Fall of Troy, etc.
She also likes to listen to other genres too. Her music library also consists of pop punk acts like Paramore, Mayday Parade, My Chemical Romance (with Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge being her favorite album from them) and Neck Deep, industrial acts like Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson, several goth groups of the late 70's and 80's goth groups such as Joy Division, The Cure, Echo and the Bunnymen, and even some Depeche Mode.
While we're on the topic of music, Gwen picked up drums by accident, when one of her friends at the time offered her to let some steam out by banging on his drum kit. She still occasionally plays the instrument to this day, and uses drumming as a form of music therapy, and drums away to songs that match her current mood. But she also likes to drum away whenever she's not feeling up to sketching or watching other people. (Credit to for this one)
Following the events of All-Stars, thanks to Zoey (and some assistance from Cameron and Mike), she was able to work up the courage to reach out to (and rekindle things with) many of fellow OG castmates, and started to talk more often again with the likes of Leshawna, Bridgette and even Trent. The one OG castmate she was thankfully still able to maintain a consistent and close connection with was Owen (especially thanks to him often reaching out to her).
Her favorite holiday is Halloween, and she always enjoys and looks forward to throwing Halloween parties each year.
While it may have taken a while, she was also eventually able to come to civil terms with Courtney again as well, as they each finally made the efforts to apologize and make up to one another for their previous actions.
After graduating high school, Gwen went off to McGill University to study Art History, in hopes of pursuing her dream career as a professional artist.
When not busy with college work (or sketching), Gwen would spend most of her time writing up a biography about her time spent on Total Drama.
She also has her own YouTube channel where she talks about a variety of things, including Total Drama.
She doesn't plan to give up on romance completely, but has remained single for several years following All-Stars.
