You and Ava decided to make the monthly trip to the store after cleaning out the fridge since you both had been home for two days from being on the road and decided to bite the bullet and do a few things for the day leading to ava washing dishes, you doing a bit of laundry, sweeping and mopping the house, and lastly cleaning out the fridge before leaving. Ava went inside the store while you drove a bit further downtown to pay a bill when you noticed people around the street and hearing yelling which made you confused until you had looked up and saw the small black bear on the electric pole which made your heart sink as you quickly paid the bill and picked up ava immediately going back and watching as the bear was given a tranquilizer so the firefighters and wild life people could help the bear down safely without anyone or the bear being hurt, the next fifteen minutes felt like an eternity as the tranquilizers took effect and the next thing you knew was the bear barely hanging on and then a spark before the bear fell straight to the ground at least twelve feet. Without even thinking you ran to the bear after it fell looking to see a few burns on it's back legs as you gently pat and sat beside it as officers ran up and began to take the bear off to the zoo where it would be taken care of and looked after as you walked back to ava who looked afraid as she hugged you thinking it was because you had ran off and she didn't know where you were or didn't realize it but she was actually afraid that the bear would or had woken up while you were close to it even though it would still likely be drowsy and confused due to the tranquilizers, the two of you got home and spent the rest of the afternoon at home but you ended up getting a call from an officer who had talked to you after and told you that despite having second degree burns the bear was okay and would be at the zoo which made you let out a sigh of relief before hugging ava who knew just how compassionate you were to others and animals even if it meant risking your well being.
