When Neyari becomes the new general manager for the Las Vegas Aces.
But what will happen when some of the players starts to take interest in the beautiful lady who will be her end game ?
April 27th 2024 6:45 a.m Nene's pov Todays the first day of my new job as the new manager of the Las Vegas Aces and I'm so excited because I've always wanted to be in some sort of sports behind the scenes team if you know what I mean . I get out of and head to my bathroom and cut on the shower when I get out I do the rest of my morning routine and then go to my closet and pick out my outfit for today and I decide to go with something simple so I paired a black tank top with some blue jeans and Jordan ones with my hair in a claw clip style.

Skip time
As I was pulling to the practice facility I saw some of the players arriving for practice. When I found a parking spot I got out my and went to Becky's office because that's where she said to meet her at it took me a minute to find it.As I walked up the door knocked on it and heard a nice "Come in" as I walked into the room I'm welcomed by Becky Hammon herself.
"Hi you must be neyari" Becky says with a smile " Yes I am it's such an honor to meet you and get this job it's always been a dream to work here"I say smiling "Well I'm glad you're here too so what we are going to do today is set you up in your own office and also I'm going to introduce you to the team when practice starts and that's in about 15 minutes so go to your office"
As we start walking down the hallway it doesn't take us long to get door that says "Aces head management Neyari Sims" With the Aces logo on it .
"Aww this is so cute" I say as we enter the room "yeah the team decided that we should have signs on each door" she says "well that's a nice way to identify the different offices" I say as I look around the room.

Time skip As we walk into the gym becky hands me a clipboard and a pen as she's telling me to write down the players names as I was finishing up writing them down I didn't even notice that the team had huddled up in front of me so when I did finish and looked up I jumped back a little bit in surprise that they were all there causing them to all start laughing a little.Which caused me to look right back brown at the clipboard than look at Becky.
"All right y'all this is our new head manager Neyari Sims as you may remember from designing the door signs" As Becky explained who I was the team just nodded there head in understanding "All right I'll let her take over now" " Ok thank you Becky has you know I'm going to be your general manager and I just wanted to say that I am so grateful and glad that you guys are giving me the opportunity to work with you all and I can't wait to help you guys out on the road to becoming three time champions and yeah that's all" I say with a smile on my face " ok is there any questions for Ms. Neyari speak now or forever hold your peace" she says
"Can you dance"Sydney said As I look up at her I say while lifting my right eyebrow "maybe you'll have to wait and see" making the team laugh "she'll fit in perfectly" says Aja Causing me to look at her and smile and say thanks " alright enough socializing time for practice 20 laps around the gym go" when she said that the girls huffed started doing what she said
Time skip
We had about an hour left in practice so the girls split up into two teams to do a scrimmage game .So team one is Aja , Alysha, Jackie, Sydney, and Chelsea. Then team two is Kelsey, Kate, Kiah, Tiffany, and Megan.So with that I was the one who was keep score of the game and so far team one was winning by 15 points with 5 minutes left in the game so there was a lot of trash talking on the court between the two teams and it was so funny the way the girls were going back a forth with each other.
"OH HELL YEAH KATE" Kelsey yells because she had just blocked Alysha from getting a layup then Aja says while rolling her eyes and giving sassy "don't get to pumped up your down 18 points with 2 minutes left in the game KP" making me chuckle at the interaction between the two. Which makes Kelsey turn around and look at me making me instantly shut up "you laughing girl you think somethin funny" she says while lifting her eyebrow "No I'm not laughing at you" "are you sure because it sure did sound like you were" Kate says now walking over to me not gonna lie but it was kind of hot the way they were standing over me. I look down trying to hide my bushing face.
"Mmm not to much on my girl" Aja says walking over to me pulling me into her arms as I smile at her then stick my tongue out at Kate and KP and hugging Aja .
Time Skip
Practice was over now I was in my new office looking around to see how I can make it a little more home like so I sit in my chair and started shopping for a bean bag chair microwave snacks etc .
When I was almost done with looking for stuff someone came in and I looked up to see Aja in front of me .
"Hey Aja what can I do for you". " Hey Ne I was just browsing through to see what you're doing" "Oh ok is that all" "No I also just wanted to bother you so what you doinn" "Umm I guess you could bother me I was just finishing up a little shopping for my office so it can fell more like me" I said as she makes her way around I'm desk to look at the computer to see what I was talking about and pulls up a chair so she could sit down.
"Oooo I like the bean bag idea I'm going to be in here all the time" she says as she was scrolling through the order and then she pressed the place order button. "Yeah I bet you are" I mumbled in response to what she said and few moments ago and we both just looked at each other for a long time until there was a knock at the door which made me look up and say come in and it was Kate
"Hey sorry for bothering you but I just wanted to know if you would like to go out with me and the team tonight" " Yeah I'm done just send me the details and I'll be there". "ok cool"
When I got home I got to text from Kate saying that they are going to go out for dinner and then to a bar near by the restaurant.So after a texted her back and said ok what time she said 7:30 I hearted the message and looked at the time to see it was 2:45 so I decided to take a nap because a girl is tried so I changed into some shorts and a cropped tank top and fell asleep.
