Jennie felt Lisa showering her shoulder with featherlight kisses. Despite her exhaustion, her body was tired and sore but fulfilled—they had made love thrice that night, and it was now three in the morning. Jennie struggled to articulate how beautiful and satisfying the experience had been. Now, Lisa hugged her tightly, easing the slight discomfort she felt. Lisa had ensured their first night together was worth it, and indeed it was.

Lisa had reassured her she would take care of everything, which was enough to calm Jennie's worries about what would happen next. She pondered their future together; perhaps Lisa wouldn't declare her as an official girlfriend, but Jennie at least hoped their relationship would remain private. She trusted Lisa not to be involved with anyone else while they were together.

Lisa had given her word to take care of Jennie, which included protecting her family's reputation—the Kim family's reputation meant everything to her. Jennie's family was highly respected, and the thought of their secret relationship becoming public was daunting. It could lead to a scandal that would tarnish the Kim name irreparably.

“Why won’t you sleep?” The Thai beauty told her while stroking her long brown hair.

“I’m tired, but I’m not sleepy.”

“Yeah, me too.” Lisa gave her forehead a kiss.

“You’ll take care of me, right?”

The blonde laughed. “You have been asking me that since earlier. I already told you – yes, I will take care of you, honey. Stop asking me that, or I will have to show you how much I am willing to take care of you… by having another round.”

She playfully pinched Lisa on the side of her stomach, causing the blonde to laugh as she tried to escape her teasing fingers. "Ouch."

Then, she straddled Lisa, lying on top of her so they were face to face. Jennie kissed Lisa's plump lower lip and hugged her, driven by an inexplicable urge to do so.

“You’re so sweet, honey.” Lisa whispered.

She smiled her gummy smile. “Let’s not fight anymore, Lis.”

The Thai smiled brightly, and Jennie felt her heart expand. “Okay.”

“Kiss me.”

And Lisa did.

Jennie smiled as she gazed ahead. Lisa would be visiting their house later today, joining them for dinner. She had missed Lisa during the past few days when their time together had been limited. The blonde had been preoccupied with preparations for the new Utopia branch opening. Despite this, Lisa never failed to text Jennie every day and call her before bed each night.

It was as if there had never been any arguments between them. They behaved as if they were in a romantic relationship, akin to girlfriends. Lisa had only been away for four days, yet Jennie's office looked like a florist's shop, adorned daily with various bouquets sent by the taller woman. Jennie was amazed at how sweet and considerate Lisa could be.

Although a part of Jennie's mind cautioned her not to let her guard down, she couldn't help but feel giddy and fluttery inside at Lisa's attentiveness. The circumstances that had brought them together might not have been ideal—okay, it was a messed-up situation—but what mattered was that Jennie could sense Lisa's sincerity in her words and actions now. Lisa was taking care of her and pampering her like a baby.

And here she was, an ordinary person, feeling flattered by all the attention she was receiving from Lalisa Manoban. Once she stopped denying her attraction to women—more precisely, to a particular tall, blonde, gorgeous woman—everything became easier. Jennie was keenly aware of how Lisa could have anyone she wanted, yet chose to be with her. Lisa was showering her with affection.
