JENLISA
Jennie nestled comfortably in Lisa’s arms, both of them finally at peace. All the confusion, hurt, and fear that had clouded their relationship had faded away, leaving only warmth and love between them. Jennie could feel Lisa’s heart beating steadily against her, grounding her in the reality that they were finally together, without barriers or doubts.
For a moment, they just held each other, letting the quiet of the room settle around them. Jennie absentmindedly traced little circles on Lisa’s back, feeling the soft rise and fall of her breathing. It felt so good, so safe, like this was exactly where she was meant to be.
Lisa’s voice, soft and gentle, broke the comfortable silence. “Honey, do you remember the first time we met? You were so annoyed with me at that restaurant.”
Jennie let out a small laugh, nodding as she rested her head on Lisa’s shoulder. “Oh, I remember. I thought you were the most irritating person in the world.”
Lisa chuckled, her chest vibrating with the sound. “And now?”
Jennie lifted her head slightly, gazing into Lisa’s warm brown eyes. “Now, you’re still irritating sometimes,” she teased, her smile widening, “but you’re also the person I love more than anything.”
Lisa’s face lit up, her eyes sparkling with happiness. “Good, because you’re stuck with me now.”
They both laughed, the sound light and filled with joy, echoing in the room. The tension that had once hung over them had completely disappeared, replaced by something pure and unbreakable.
Jennie thought back to all the times she’d tried to push her feelings for Lisa away, all the moments she’d been too scared to admit them. But now, with all the walls between them gone, all she felt was love—a deep, overwhelming love for the Thai woman who in her own way had fought so hard to be with her.
“Let’s make a promise,” Jennie said suddenly, her tone turning serious.
Lisa looked at her curiously. “What kind of promise?”
Jennie took a deep breath, wanting to get this right. “Let’s promise to always be honest with each other. No more hiding our feelings, no more running away. If something’s bothering us, or if we’re happy, or anything—we share it. I don’t want us to ever fall back into old habits.”
Lisa’s eyes softened, her expression sincere. “I promise, Jennie. I’ll always be honest with you. I never want to lose you again.”
Jennie felt tears prickling at the corners of her eyes, but this time they were tears of happiness. She leaned in and kissed Lisa softly, sealing their promise with a gentle touch.
When they finally pulled apart, Lisa stood up and offered Jennie her hand. “Come on,” she said, a playful twinkle in her eye. “Let’s go celebrate your birthday properly.”
Jennie took Lisa’s hand, letting her pull her up. “What do you have in mind?”
Lisa grinned, her eyes sparkling with mischief. “You’ll see. Just trust me.”
And for the first time in a long time, Jennie did. She trusted Lisa completely, with her whole heart.
They walked out of the room hand in hand, ready to face whatever the future held for them, knowing they’d do it together, stronger and more in love than ever. As they stepped out into the night, Jennie couldn’t help but smile, feeling like she was walking into the beginning of a beautiful forever with Lisa by her side. It felt perfect, like everything was finally as it should be.

CHAESOORosé and Jisoo returned to Korea after spending another month in New York. Rosé had already spoken with her sister Jennie and thanked Lisa for her help. She also confessed that Jisoo had been her former girlfriend. Jennie was surprised but happy for them. Meanwhile, Jisoo promised Lisa she would tell her everything when they meet agai , after Lisa prodded her to do so.
With their hearts feeling lighter, they were ready for a fresh start. Back in Seoul, the city they both loved, it felt like a new beginning was waiting for them.
On their first evening back, they went to a quiet park just a few blocks from Jisoo’s house. The air was cool, and the stars above seemed to share their feelings of hope and forgiveness. They sat on a park bench, city lights twinkling nearby. Three big security guards were around them, but Rosé didn’t mind them anymore.
Jisoo gently held Rosé’s hand. “You know,” Jisoo began softly, “I’ve thought a lot about what happened three years ago. I never really got to explain my side.”
Rosé looked into Jisoo’s eyes, feeling a mix of regret and relief. “I know. I jumped to conclusions when I saw someone else at your dorm, and instead of talking to you, I ran... I acted like I didn’t care, tried to hurt you by pretending I was moving on.”
Jisoo’s expression softened. “We both made mistakes, love. I wanted to explain, but you were gone. I was heartbroken when I couldn’t find you, and I didn’t even know you had left for Korea.”
Rosé nodded, her thumb gently brushing against Jisoo’s hand. “I wasn’t honest with you about who I really was. And you didn’t tell me everything about yourself, either. We both hid things.”
Jisoo squeezed Rosé’s hand, her voice sincere. “But we’re here now. We’ve learned from the past. I’m ready to start over if you are.”
Rosé smiled, her heart full of love. “I am. I want to build something new with you, Jisoo. Something real and honest.”
Jisoo’s eyes sparkled. “I’m so glad to hear that, Pasta. I’ve missed you more than you can imagine.”
With their hearts open, they felt the weight of the past lift. They decided to take their time and rebuild their relationship, this time with honesty and openness.
The next morning, Jisoo decided to surprise Rosé with breakfast in bed. Knowing how much of a foodie Rosé was, she made her favorite: fluffy pancakes with fresh fruit and a side of honey. When Rosé saw the delicious spread, her eyes lit up with pure delight.
“Good morning, love,” Jisoo said, placing the tray on Rosé’s lap. “I thought you’d like something sweet to start the day.”
Rosé grinned, her heart swelling with happiness. “This is perfect, babe. Thank you.”
As they enjoyed their breakfast, Jisoo leaned in and whispered, “I love waking up next to you. It feels like everything is finally right.”
Rosé’s cheeks flushed with joy. “I love waking up to you, too. It feels like a dream come true.”
