Ria's POV
Why's Hailey here? Ian knows the situation right now why would he bring her here?
"I swear I was going to bring her home but if you saw how she was you'd take her wherever it was she wanted to go," he says breathless as he had to jog to keep up with her.
"What the actual fuck Ria? Are you ignoring me? Cause if yes what the fuck did I do? You can't just fucking ignore people like that!" She practically yells, walking towards me before stopping directly in front of me.
"You don't get to just play with my feelings and then leave me hanging without an explanation!" she continues, poking at my chest with her index.
"You're such a fucking spoiled rich kid that think it's okay to fuck with people's feelings, well Xaiya I have those too! Has it ever occurred to you that maybe, just maybe I have fucking feelings too? Huh? No, you haven't! Because you're selfish, so goddamn selfish! I thought we might have been building something but I guess I was being damn delusional or maybe you were leading me on for fun. Well Xaiya FYI this isn't fucking fun!" she argues through tears. This time full on hitting my chest after each sentence.
I didn't know how to react so I just did the only thing I could think to do, hug her. In my embrace she decided to continue crying, soaking the crop top I'm in but I don't mind. Lifting her over my shoulder, I head up to my room where I allow her to sit on my bed. I join her and she lays on my chest.
After a few minutes she calms down. I'm not using her, I don't see myself ever doing that to her. She eases off and looks at me properly for the first time since she's been here.
"Ria," she says, gently holding my face with her hand, inspecting with her eyes, " what happened?"
"I'm fine," I say in hopes that she'll let it go but I think I know better than that by now.
"Let me see your hands," she demands with her hands folded across her chest.
"No, it's fine, I swear," I try to convince her. But she doesn't budge. She keeps her hands folded and her "I don't believe that shit" stare fixed.
Giving in I hold my hands out and she takes them into hers, spinning and inspecting them before saying, "What the fuck Ria that's not nothing."
She stands and heads to the closet, returning with a first aid kit.
"I remembered seeing one the first time I was here," she says, stooping in front of me. She takes my hands, cleaning and wrapping my bruised knuckles.
"Fuck, that burns," I complain and attempt to pull my hand from her hold but her grip is firm.
"It's not that bad," she chuckles and I slightly roll my eyes.
A she a feel it?
"If you squirmed less I'd be done," she smiles, wrapping the final bandage and regaining her stance.
"Now let me see your face," she says, holding my face and pulling it closer to her.
Hailey's POV
She's bruised badly, it looks like she's been hit in the face by something solid. I avoid asking again what happened because I've learned that she won't tell me so asking is pointless.
"Your lip is swollen, your teeth pierced clean through on impact, whatever caused that impact," I roll my eyes.
"I know," she says and I sigh.
Disinfecting the wound I put sulphur powder on it to help with the healing and swelling. And for her nose, I use a cotton swab soaked with hydrogen peroxide to clean the dried blood. I use a alcohol wipe to clean her entire face in case of any smaller cuts.
