T/W - Mentions of death, murder, and torture. But I think you'll enjoy this murder. Also, a little touch of smut. 😉

Juliette's POV

I pushed through the crowds of people that were gathered in my father's house. Flynn followed behind me.

Valentin and Aria were talking in a group. I pulled on Valentin's suit jacket, which grabbed his and Aria's attention. When they saw my red eyes and tear-stained cheeks, they let me pull them into the dining room with Flynn.

"What's going on?" Aria asked worriedly.

I looked at Valentin, preparing myself for his reaction. "Are you ready for him to die? For me to kill him?"

Val furrows his eyebrows. "What did he do?"

My eyes water but Flynn nods for me to keep going. "Dad killed Mom and Aunt Luna."

Val looked like he almost didn't believe me. He ran a hand through his hair and leaned on the table in disbelief. Aria comforted him with a hand on his shoulder.

Flynn rubbed circles on my back.

"And he made the plan that got Dylan killed. She was never supposed to live."

Aria gasped, covering her mouth.

"Do it." Val sounded angry, though his face didn't necessarily show it. "Kill him."

"Do you want to help me?"

He looked up, a small smirk marking his face. "No. I'm gonna let you do what you're best at."

"Then it's a good thing that I brought my special knives." I sighed, slipping into a completely different personality. "I'm gonna kill him in front of everybody here."

A devious smile made its way onto my face. I grabbed Flynn's hand and skipped to the chilly outside, where the last outside event of the year was being held. Soldiers, donors, inner circle members, and their spouses were all sitting in chairs outside.

A man was talking, rambling about a potential war. Blah, blah, blah. My "father" was standing with my other brothers, quietly scolding Alexei for something.

I searched the crowd as Val came up next to me. My grandparents, Ded and Babushka, were there. They shouldn't have had to see what I was about to do to their son.

"Get them out of here. Explain what's about to happen," I told Val.

He nodded and led our grandparents out

I sighed and walked giddily up the stairs. Blowing a kiss to Flynn, I stole the microphone from the man that was talking. Flynn smiled while Dad looked as if he was about to strangle me himself.

Waving the man off stage, I spoke into the microphone. "Oh, hello! You guys may not know me or remember me, but I'm the daughter that Lev doesn't talk about."

By now, Lev had made his way onto the stage and attempted to grab the mic from me. "What the fuck do you think you're doing? I'll kill you for this one."

"Wrong. I'll kill you the same way that you killed my mother," I snapped, dropping the mic.

The crowd gasped. Lev tried to throw a punch at me, which I ducked under and kept speaking. "You left me without a mother. Why?"

"It's about time you figured it out. She deserved what she got," he growled. "She was a bitch, and clearly, you're turning out to be just like her."

I shot him in the leg, in hopes of shutting him up. Lev's eyes flared with rage as he tried to get up.
