the filming for the music video ends for the day, with the director anemone commanding, "okay, minors. you can go back to the inn now." she also then reminded, "mem, you're an adult, so you're staying. you're eighteen already, right?"
"yess, i'm over eighteen years old."
"i want akane onee-chan to be my roomie tonight!" ruby cheered while hugging akane she agreed, "oh? sure."
kana then looked at them in disbelief while y/n raised her hand, "i'll come with you guys." she had two reasons why. one, ruby would discover a body. two, because it's annoying.
"i'm going to observe a little more, so i'll leave ruby to you both." aqua said as akane replied okay as y/n nodded.
walking with them, y/n stayed quiet as she fell awkward with them, though, ruby's only voice could be heard cheering.
"oh, a crow!" ruby suddenly said as she looked at it while akane warned, "watch out."
"did you guys know? they say that birds can't see at night!"
"no, no. that's for chickens..."
"she's right, ruby. so—" before y/n could finish her sentence the crow snatched the key in ruby's hand and flew away making y/n mentally facepalm.
"you shitty crow!! i'm gonna grill and skewer you!!" the ruby who was sweet and so curious about the bird was suddenly threatening it while akane said, "we warned you..."
"wait...!!!" with one last shout the bird finally was out of sight.
the three then give chase to the crow, ruby is busy cursing the bird while akane is getting worried that they might get lost in the forest if they continue.
"don't you guys worry! i'm familiar with this are, more or less!"
"huh?"
"no, i mean...i was born around here! we often pass by this area by car!" ruby replied nervously trying to hide the fact she really does know the place while y/n just stayed silent as they talked.
while they walk together, ruby then randomly asks if akane wants to join b-komachi, which akane says would be hard due to her not being good at anything that is not her specialty. akane then asks ruby back about her interest in being an actress. ruby was interested, a little, but she wanted to focus on being an idol more.
surprisingly, akane walked next to y/n and asked her, "you okay? you seem quiet."
"ah..oh, yeah. thanks for asking though." she replied, giving him a small smile as akane nodded.
"akane-chan, y/n-chan, how many years difference can you tolerate in partnership?" ruby suddenly asked as akane was surprised while y/n stifled a small chuckle.
