Most of the ride was quiet while I stared down at our intertwined fingers. I can't believe I let him touch me like that. Not that I didn't enjoy it. I've never wanted anyone to touch me. I've never experienced a yerning like that before. He's the first person to elicit this side of me.
It excites me, and scares the hell out of me. What happens when he's had his fun and wants nothing to do with me?
When I feel the turn onto my drive way is when I pull my eyes from our hands. Most of the house is dark. Housekeeping probably left some of the lights on so we wouldn't walk into a dark house.
"Stay put okay?" He brings our hand up and places a kiss on mine making me smile as I nod. He gets out to open my door for me. Helping me out of the car he presses a kiss to my cheek once I'm standing. He wraps his arms around my waist from behind and rests his chin on my shoulder as we make our way to the front steps. "Wanna come in for a bit?" He smiles, and his cheeks turn a little pink.
"I was going to anyway just to make sure everything was secure before I left you home alone. Your sister won't be home for a while, and I don't like the thought of you being alone in this big house." I scoff at him as I take out my keys.
"House? More like a freakin castle. It's so unnecessary." I put the key in the door as he leans his shoulder against the door frame watching me.
"So what would you rather live in?" The lock clicks open, but I stand there and think for a moment.
"I'd rather be in a cozy two bedroom apartment. At least that's what I'm saving up for." His eyes widen as he jerks his head back a bit. "What?" I arch a brow.
"Nothing" I pull the key out and open the door. I toss my keys and bag on the table once inside. He closes the door behind us, and locks the dead bolt again. He bends down to one knee, his one hand brushup my calf to the back of my knee bending it up while the other hand takes off my shoe. When I step back down on my flat foot I brace my self by placing a hand on his shoulder.
"Hmm. I'm surprised." I arch a brow looking at him as he repeats the same action taking off my other shoe, and placing it under the side table with the other. I want to ask him why he's doing this, but I don't want to ruin this moment. So I keep my thoughts to myself and instead ask.
"Why's that?" When he stands upright again, he places his hands in his pockets make him look so different. Not as hard as he normally looks. I just watch and admire him leaning back against the side table.
"I figure growing up here, you'd be use to it. I know your sister and my cousin have something about this size in mind." I make my way to the stairs to go up and change. I look back to see if he's following. He looks up raising his brows. I smile and motion with my head for him to follow and reach my hand out towards him. He sheepishly smiles and approaches me taking my outstretched hand. Walking up the steps I continue.
"Yeah well I told her to just move him in because I'd be out soon enough. She said our parents wouldn't want me living on my own in a strange place. So I guess it'll sit empty until Celeste decides to sell it." I open my bedroom door leaving it open as an invitation. He takes it, slowly walking in half way before he stops and just looks around. I walk over to my vanity, taking my jewelry off and placing it on the table.
"It's a beautiful house. But I agree with you. It's a little too much unless you plan to have a big family." I contemplate his words watching through the mirror.
"Maybe. But even then, a smaller house would be fine." I shrug as I try to reach behind me for the zipper. I pinch it between my fingers and tug on it to pull it down but it won't budge.
