Abby's POV

We were up with the sun this morning, knowing I had to come home to pack a few things that I hadn't brought to Jacksons place.

While I packed Jax was speaking with the other guards down stairs, going over security for the house while we'd be gone. My sister would be back in a few days, and I didn't want to be here when she did.

I don't know what their plans are when they get back. If they will live here or at Johns place until they find a house of their own. Either way, I wont be here.

As I zip up my bag Jax walks in. "Hey! I just finished, perfect timing." I smile and look up at him, but he doesn't return the smile. "What's the matter?" He walks over to me and wraps his arms around my waist hiding his face in my neck. "Jax?" He groans. before looking at me.

"We can't leave just yet. I have to make a stop at the office first and it may take at least an hour." I furrow my brows.

"That's what all the dramatics are for? I thought you were going to say we couldn't go at all." The corner of his mouth turns up as he shakes his head.

"I thought you'd be upset and I hate to disappoint you." I pull his face closer to mine.

"Look in my eyes and listen to me." He looks up into my eyes with his brows pinched high on his forehead. "Nothing you could ever do would disappoint me. Even if we go no where, I'd be happy just being with you." He shakes his head not believing me. "I'd be happy sitting on a bus stop bench with you." A chuckle passes through his lips bringing a smile to my face.

"Alright princess, you've made your point. lets get your bag in the car and get to the office ASAP so I can get you naked on a beach by sunset." his hands reach down to get a full grip on each of my ass cheeks making me squeal.

He pulls away to grab my bag, and I grab my hand bag. He waits by the bedroom door for me and as I walk past him he slaps my ass. "Get that sexy ass in the car quickly." I jump and scurry down the steps and out the front door with a huge smile on my face.

Jackson's POV

"Sergio I don't care who you have to pay off to get the information, I want to know who is sending these texts and threatening Abbigail. Do you understand?" I say through gritted teeth.

The second I saw her walk through her bedroom door I started telling my right hand man Sergio (and best friend since we were kids) everything that has been going on. The messages that have been on going and the whole situation with Abby's professor even the heated discussion I had with her sister and John the night of the wedding.

Sergio looked shocked to hear my voice for probably the second time since I was release from prison and he started working for me. But moved past it once he heard the details.

"Okay, Jax. I'll be with you during the trip then. I can't leave you two alone. I'll stay in the guest house and I'll bring Brian as back up so I can sleep at some point." I nod and start to make my way to the steps. "Oh and Jax!" I look back as I walk. "You might wanna go to the office before the trip. An envelope came for you yesterday. It said confidential so I didn't want to open it. Planned on telling you today anyway." I stop my steps and hang my head. I know what it is.

I had a private investigator look into the death of Abby and Celeste's parents. Something just never sat right with me about their death in a plane crash.

They very rarely flew anywhere together. And the one time they did; they were called back home early cutting their trip short, the plane went down? I was never told the full details. Where they went? How long they were away? Why did they have to leave early? I don't like to pry, or make Abby talk about anything that might upset her so I haven't asked for details. Now I won't have to.
