ONCE THE FIGHTING HAD ENDED, MITCHELL was ready to curl up into a ball and cry. He had been very preoccupied on making sure that his campers didn't die, that he hadn't found the time to look for his favourite people.

"Mimi?" Mitchell heard a small voice ask from behind him. He knew that voice. He whirled around to see Jade standing there with Reece.

Without a second thought, Mitchell dropped to his knees just in time to wrap his arms around Jade. He held her tightly against him, running his hands through her hair softly.

Mitchell stood, Jade in his arms by his hip. He hugged Reece next, staying like that for a few seconds before pulling away.

"Are you guys okay?" Was the first thing Mitchell could manage to get out without feeling like he was going to burst into tears.

Reece smiled and patted his shoulder. "We're okay. Been missing you like crazy though."

Jade buried her face into Mitchell's neck. "We got told you fell into Tartarus with Percy. I thought I'd never see you again!"

Mitchell felt his heart drop. Tartarus. If it wasn't for Jade, he probably wouldn't have had the strength and urgency to get out — even though he had Percy, Mitchell knew he would've been fine dying with him. But leaving Jade wasn't an option. Not when he could help it.

He looked at Reece and sighed. "I know. I'm sorry. But I'm here now." He held her tightly and Reece gave him a sad nod. "Gods, I've missed the both of you so much."

Reece laughed. "Yeah? I've had to become Jade's new model. I got my hair done everyday, and my makeup too. I think I looked amazing if I'm being honest."

Mitchell wanted to laugh. He could imagine it. Reece with tiny ponytails sticking out of his head, with smeared lipstick and too much blush on his cheeks.

"I see the vision." He agreed, putting Jade down, but kneeling to her level so that she could stay clinging onto his shirt. "Percy's back, I heard you wanted to show him some stuff?"

Jade's smile grew bright, and Mitchell only then realised how much he missed it. How much he missed her. He wasn't sure what their relationship was — sister and brother? Father and daughter? Best friends?

"Yeah!" She jumped up and down, grinning wildly. "I have so much to show the both of you!"

Mitchell twirled a piece of her hair around his finger, "Well, we'll be here for a long time. But we have work to do right now, don't we?"

Reece nodded. "Yeah, need help?"

"I have so much to tell you, bro." Mitchell stood up, Jade's hand slipping off his shirt to his hand, that he squeezed softly. "The Argo II was wild."
