Amidst the drive, I urged you to sing,
You hesitated, like a fragile thing.
But you took a chance, and joined in the play,
Brief happiness, fading away.
Dreaming of our wedding, I asked for a dance,
You declined, leaving little chance.
Now, waking up, memories sting,
Of shattered hopes, of a broken ring.
