Chapter 10: Blooming Affections.

Through the light, emerged a man; tall, with a muscular and athletic build, befitting his status as a lacrosse player. He had dark, wavy hair and his eyes were warm and expressive. He stands right in front of Ashi. Ashi's heart skips a beat. And then he speaks.

Kabir:" Hey are you Ashi?"

Ashi:" Y....a....a...yes I am Ashi."

Kabir:" I am Bunny,Kabir to be precise. I was... I was sent to you by Ms. Sharma, She said since I am new and you are the brightest student, that you would help me cover up what I've missed so far."

Ashi:" Sure I do...would love to".

Unnati and Ashi have eye contact. Unnati screams in her mind and she freaks out. Is this the first time Ashi has come across a boy??????? What now?????

Ashi decides to show Kabir around the college and then they decide to sit in the garden outside the library. Ashi was nervous this was the first time a boy was this close to her. She clears her throat and was about to ask something but Aarush spoke.

Kabir: "So, Ashi.... What are your hobbies? "

Ashi: " Well, I love baking and singing and reading sometimes. What about you?"

Kabir: " I love singing, reading sometimes and eating baked goods".

He looked at Ashi and Ashi's face lit up. She understood the signal. After that, Ashi and Kabir decided to go to a cafe and finish their pending work. Ashi gathered the courage and asked.

Ashi: " Um...hey Kabir, do you wanna go to a cafe and study. The faster you catch up the better."   

Kabir: " Sure, Ash that sounds perfect. "

Ashi: "Sorry, Ash?"

Kabir:" Ya I thought we could use nicknames. Bunny and Ash, if you like."

Ashi: " Oh well in that case I'll call me Bunny, if that's okay."

Kabir: That sounds good, Ash."

Ashi and Kabir head to the cafe. Ashi drives him there and then Kabir gives Ashi more hints. He opens her car door for her, holds the door of the cafe open for her and pulls out her chair for her etc. They were at the ordering counter.

Employee: " Good Evening Sir and Ma'am, What would you like to have?"

Ashi was about to give her order when.

Kabir: " One Venti(large) iced vanilla latte with 5 pumps of vanilla and a banana nut bread for ma'am and one black coffee and plain croissant for me please."

Ashi was shocked that was her go to order. But this was the first time she was going with Ashi to a cafe. As Ashi was pulling her wallet out of her pocket, Kabir stopped her.

Kabir: " Hey Ash, don't worry. It's on me."

Kabir pays, takes the receipt and then Ashi and he walk back to their table. And then Bunny and Ash sit and study English and German. After than As they were leaving the cafe after 3 hours.

Kabir: " Ashi, let me drive the way back. You look tired."

Ashi: " Sure, if that's not a problem you can drive."

Ashi hands Kabir the keys and again he does the same gestures like opening the door etc. He drives to his house and then parks and he and Ashi have eye contact.
