Ashi slaps Unnati because she was screaming. Ashi pulls Unnati down to sit down and tells her everything. They both are over the moon. A boy likes Ashi! For the first time Ashi loves the boy who loves her too. What will happen now? Will it end in a successful relationship or heartbreak?
Ashi starts getting a feeling that she should go talk to Kabir about her real feelings. She and Unnati decide to go shopping and once again Unnati decides that getting her mom in this shopping spree and helping Ashi get Kabir was a nice idea. So, there they were. Ashi and Unnati
tell her mom everything so she is updated.
Next morning, Ashi wakes up and this time decides to dress up very specially and tell Kabir the entire truth about what she feels. She dresses up and practices what she wants to tell Kabir. And then she and Unns leave for college. The minute they enter Ashi walks up to Kabir and pokes his back and he turns toward her. Her heart starts racing, she breathes and starts.
Ashi: " Umm... Kab....Bunny.....Bunny, I have to tell you something...something important."
Kabir: " Hey Ash, sure what's up all okay?"
Ashi: (nervously) " The thing is..... I ....... I like you...... more than a friend. I like you romantically. I've liked you since the day we met." (She looks at Bunny[Kabir]'s face) "Pl....please say something."
Kabir: " Ash.....woah woah. You feel? For me? What? When? How? Was it because I paid for your coffee? " (Looks at Ashi's petrified face) " Ash I like you but only as a friend and you're like my sister. You and Unnsu are the same for me... I don't feel anything romantically for you. I hope this won't affect our friendship. You're my best friend Ash. "
Ashi gets emotional and runs away. Unnati follows her. Did the person Ashi thought loves her for the first time also turn into a fraud. Ashi sits down on the stairs where she and Unnati were talking. Unnati grabs Ashi and hugs her while Ashi hides her face with Unnati's arm and cries nonstop. Ashi falls of to sleep while crying and Unnati pats her head. Unnati with the help of her elder brother Manik picks Ashi up and takes her back to her house and tells her mom to let Ashi spend the night and to inform Ashi's mom.
Next morning, Ashi wakes up and remembers everything that happened. She and Unnati go down to Unnati's mom's study where her mom is sitting and having her breakfast tea.
Unnati: " Good Morning Mom." (Signals that Ashi is there).
Khushi: " Good morning my honeybub... good morning Ashi."
Ashi: " G.....good morning Aunty. Thank you for letting me crash here again. (She has an eye contact with Khushi). Okay... I am going to go home."
Unnati: " Ashi, let me drop home... your mom messaged me. She's been worried sick about you. Let me go with you."
Ashi: " Okay.....fine."
Ashi and Unnati drive back to Ashi's house. Ashi's mom hears the sound of the car and rushes outside and hugs Ashi. She says thanks to Unnati for dropping Ashi home. She takes Ashi inside. And puts Ashi to sleep. Ashi and Unnati hug each other bye. Inside the house, Ashi and Esha talk.
Esha: " Ashi, dear why didn't you tell me? If you liked Kabir, I would have helped you. Tell me what happened dear."
Ashi: " Mom I am okay. I just need a break... let me sleep. I will not go to college today."
Esha rubs her hand on Ashi's head and then shuts the door. When Unnati reaches college... Kabir waits where She usually parks. Unnati sees him and decides to call Manik and then she gets off with Manik and Kabir chases them. Manik drops Unnati to her class safely. After the class.. Kabir is still there. Unnati, now furious, grabs his hand and takes him to the side and slaps him.
Unnati: " Have you no shame. Coming and following me after everything you did to Ashi yesterday. My best friend of 10 years! My sister."
Kabir: " Unns... I know you are mad at me and I understand that that is right. But, please tell Ashi to come to college."
Unnati: " Oh you know what, she will never come again. She has transferred to the Community college close to her house. She wanted to be away from you and because of you I lost her. So you stay away for me."
Unnati walks away. A month passed since the incident, the college was reopening after the holidays. When Unnati reaches, she gets to know that Kabir, like any other boy in Ashi's life turned to be a fraud. All those late night calls, all the study sessions and the coffees and drives she did for Kabir was all waste. Unnati tells Ashi and once again like the 18 years till now Ashi breaks her heart and goes back to living alone.
But this time was different. This was Ashi's first love. She was ready to do everything for Kabir. In the process of helping him she lost herself. After Kabir left, she didn't immediately get ok. It was months of therapy, crying, self healing and constant hiding herself. Unnati saw all of Ashi's phases and stuck right by her side.
Finally, 1 year passed since that event and now Ashi was back to normal.
