"Does that mean I'm a member now?" she asked hoping that it is not the case. You may find her coldblooded but people have reasons and for her, it's because she finds it troublesome, but of course, there are also some underlying reasons why she wouldn't like to get involve.

"Since you're now hanging out with us, then yes you are in. Congratulations on getting in to the famous Bofurin!!!" Umemiya blurted out happily, although he was only playing around when he said 'famous'. Afterall, the group was created not for some whimsical/flimsy reasons like popularity but for the safety of the town including its residents.

'Famous? I am not even aware of it until a while ago.' Yuki thought.

Sakura, Suo, and Nirei looked at him in confusion but he just winked at them making Sakura avoid his gaze in an instant.

'Right, this kid was this shy.' he thought before switching into his serious mode.

Though, that wasn't actually the case- because all the boys who went to Furin obviously desired to be a part of it - but he gets the feeling that he will be able to get to know the new kid more if they share some connection, well, this kind of connection.

It's not like he wants to get to know the kid in a stalker type of way, he still has some manners, but he felt like he needs to know Shinomiya Yuki more. Afterall, the kid has captured his attention.

'He's interesting.' - his excuse.

There goes her hope. She sighed and contemplated about how she will handle matters from now on but then when she thinks about it she became more relax.

'As long as I am in this town, it will be fine, right?' she thought. 'It's not like I'm going to be actively joining them in fights, I'll just give some support for a few times. It will be bothersome if this gets out though but it will be strange if I'd refuse it. They might find me suspicious.' She thought not really able to think properly at the moment. She once again released a sigh.

"Alright, I'm in." she stood up before taking her belongings.

"Where are you going, Shinomiya-kun?" Suo asked his classmate who stood up unexpectedly.

"Well... I have given you a lot of my time already. I supposed I can retire now, right?" She asked quite sarcastically.

"Oh... you're right."

After making sure she heard a response. Yuki went up to Kotoha, paid her order, and bid her good bye before going straight to the exit but before she could even pull the doorknob, Umemiya yelled.

"Shinomiya-kun! See you tomorrow!!!"

"Nirei-kun can you tell me why am I here?" Yuki finding herself in their company once again asked the second time around.

'Do I have some dark mark on me perhaps?' she even blamed it to some superstitious belief.

Nirei only snickered as he drags her towards the platinum blonde haired dude.

"Is he a middle schooler?" she asked because from where she is the guy looked so small.

"Who?" Nirei asked at lost on whom she was pertaining to.

Yuki pointed at the platinum blonde-haired guy. Her curiosity was particularly on the guy at this moment.

"Pfft..." Nirei tries to hold in his laugh but in the end, he bursts out laughing. The people around them stared at them in confusion, even she was confused.

'Am I wrong?' she genuinely thought as she places both her thumb and index finger under her chin wondering what is possibly wrong with her question. To this, Nirei only fell deeper in his laughter.

'Oh, I'm so sorry senpai.' he sincerely apologizes to his senpai in his head as he wipes the tear from the corner of his eye. After he had calmed down, he fixes his shirt that was wrinkled.

"He's our senpai, Shinomiya-kun. He's the second year's grade captain. Kaji Ren..."

"Oh... he just doesn't look like it...." Yuki stopped walking, Nirei also stopped and turned to look at her.

"Like what?

"...taller and older than us." Nirei smiled at her.

"He's taller and older than us, though." He stated, as a matter of fact. "Hurry up, Shinomiya-san."

And when they got close, Yuki understood Nirei.

Right, she was the one who's small but she won't admit that.

She stood proudly in front of Kaji Ren. Her demeaning posture got the guy dumbfounded he took his sucker out of his mouth.

"What's with that stuck up nose, Shorty?!" His sudden loudness got her jumping.

'What's this guy angry about?' she thought '...and what did he say? Shorty?!'

"You're just slightly taller than me, you, middle schooler!!!" (She's 5'5.)

"What... middle schooler? You're the one who looks like one! Who even brought you here? Kids are not needed here. Go back kid." He answered back, nose fuming from anger from being called a middle schooler. In the first place, how is he a middle schooler? He's tall even taller than this loud shorty here and who is he anyway? Why is he annoying him?

'You have the looks of a child. ' Yuki scoffed and was about to say that out loud in retaliation when Nirei decided to mediate.

"Excuse me.... Kaji-san, but this is Shinomiya Yuki, a part of the First Years of Furin." Nirei was kind of trembling from the tension he was feeling from facing the renowned grade captain of the Second Year.

"Yeah, I could tell he was from Furin but why is this kid acting so cocky? Perhaps... does he have some serious attitude problem?" He asked somehow calming down at the end of his statement as he gradually realized that that might really be the case. She shifted her glance to the then irked Yuki.

' A-attitude problem?' she thought failing to hold in her burning temper.

Even Nirei sweat dropped from that conclusion... 'if so... aren't you the same case?' he thought as he witnessed how his senpai's look towards Yuki changed from irritation to pity.

Yuki avoided his gaze and just decided to change the subject before she actually punches the life out of him.

"Anyways why are we here, Nirei-kun?" Nirei became serious.

"That... we're tasked to catch her." somehow the mood around them dropped as if even making a lil sound could cause inevitable danger.

'Her?' she thought.
