.........................

"Hmm... For starter, what's your favourite food?" Umemiya asked.

"Katsu Curry. You?" Umemiya leaned his chin on his hand and sat his elbow on his leg, contemplating about what to say.

"I like Omelette Rice but I also like Onigiri, so... ah! It's barbecue, actually. The taste of the grilled meat covered in sauce is just so..." He swallowed as he thought about one placed on top of a charcoal grill, and snapped out of it to think of another question.

"Favourite Place?"

"Wisteria garden." She simply answered.

"You?"

"Here. Makochi."

"Hmmm...." his brow twitched, as he stared at her. He fixed his stance, no longer leaning his face on his chin. "How many girlfriends have you had?" He immediately asked, eager to learn about it.

"Seriously?" she asked as she looked at him in clear disbelief.

"Yes." he smirked.

"None." she sighed and shake her head. "You've just wasted a question. Shame on you." she spat and smirked at him in return. "For real?" He asked once again, and gave her an incredulous look. She rolled her eyes. "Yeah, for real. Your turn..."

"Your question?" he asked when she didn't gave one. She avoided his gaze and hesitantly spoke. "That, ... too..."

"Heh? After all that you said, huh, you're also quite interested?"  he teases.

"No, I just - so, it's fair." she answered and snapped at him not wanting to show how shy she was actually about it.

"None, too." He responded. He avoided her gaze too, when she shifted his gaze to him and blinked, utterly unconvinced, but she wouldn't want to feed his ego so...

"Oh?" She only could mutter a simple word. She maintained her gaze at him and saw how his face, is starting to burn, too.

Umemiya's handsome, that she couldn't deny. (It was objectively judged, her excuse.) And he's also kind and lovable. Well, that's according to others. So, it was a surprise to her, that he is still single.

Maybe, what they say's quite exaggerated? But that's not possibly it. She continued staring at him.

'Or did you turn everyone down? How high are your standards?'

Yuki's gaze is starting to burn a whole on Umemiya's face and he's becoming uncomfortable under the surveillance of her eyes. It felt like he was going through intensive investigation, which don't usually happen to him, so, maybe that's the reason why he was feeling so conscious and... nervous.

But him, nervous? He was not quite sure about that. He does not go along with that word, so...

He decided to stare back at her wanting to make her feel what he was going through, probably, just discomfort, but as he maintained eye contact, his left hand began to tremble, which had his eyes slightly widening.

He took ahold of his left hand and covered it with his right one. He still didn't concede from their staring contest (only known to him), instead he leaned in a little bit more hoping to intimidate her but she stood her ground, not backing away nor flushing like the color of the tomato she held back in their first meeting.

Rather, it was like he was the one being caught in a trap under the blue sky with her pink lovely irises... so captivated by her charming gaze...

He could hear the little thumpings on his chest gradually getting louder just from those stares, like a hopeless romantic falling to a bewitching captor... so mysterious yet also foolish.
