.........................................................

Silence reigned in what it seems like a room of frost filled with piercing snows. Such was the presence of the woman whom had her mouth shut, it was filling the room with cold temperature. But in truth, Yuki was actually torn on the inside, between explaining or just keeping her mouth close.

She lied but she had to, and now, she can't decide whether to tell the truth or not.

But one thing she knows is that... she doesn't need to justify herself anymore, she won't be greedy to ask for forgiveness.

So, she just have to say what she could.

"Stop pretending already... "She started a conversation. "Aren't you going to ask anything about it?"

Would she take a flight? She'll find that one out between his lines.

She only stared at her hands with her eyes almost like that of glaring daggers, tempting to vanish anything at once.

"About what?" While Umemiya who was shivering on his spot due to the sudden coldness of the room, responded.

His eyes are still wandering around, he was not looking her way, and his ears are slightly flaming from his sensitivity.

She's cold but all he wanted right now was to give her comfort and to know what exactly happened to her. Why did she lie to him and to everyone?

He can't say he's not mad or suspicious... However, those suspicion and anger somehow were overwhelmed by his glee, of finally knowing the truth and of another totally different reason... but still there's a part of him that's eager to know... more about her.

Like a carnivore excited to dig in until the very last piece of meat... his desire was voracious.

He shook his head.

'It's not the time... It's not the time to learn the truth yet. You need to hold out until she speaks about it herself.'  he thought convincing himself to get his nosiness under control.

She sighed. It seems to her that Umemiya doesn't want to talk about anything at all.

'Is it in anyway his response to her deceit?' That she doesn't know.

She looked down and rubbed her temples in both frustration and ache. She was still suffering from her period.

"I... I came to Makochi for a reason it's just that Furin was exactly in this area so I enrolled, but don't worry... I'm not planning to harm any of you."

She explains, certain that Umemiya was there to determine if she's a threat he needs to eliminate.

"I can't exactly tell the reason why I am here or why I am disguising, but I will not lay my hands on your people. I swear that on my name."

She tried to reassure him once again that she wasn't there to act anything devious towards his precious people, yet she heard no response, rather what she heard were only heavy footsteps. Ones that somehow felt burdensome in the heart.

'Is this the end?' she thought, somehow feeling a bit down for a feeling she can now finally understand.

She was happy in Makochi but... maybe happiness doesn't really suit her. She closed her fists and smiled, fighting back the tears in her eyes.

'It was quite disappointing for everything to end just like this.' Yuki chuckled, a fake one coming out. She couldn't bring herself to face him.

"I-" Suddenly, she felt a slow and light pat on her head, stopping the tears from falling down her cheeks.

"So, you're the kind of enemy that helps her foe." He spoke, his fingers rubbing his chin, before crouching down. "Quite, a weird one then." he jests. Her eyes widened upon his unexpected move while he looked up to meet her eyes.

"You don't need to say anything right now, if you don't feel like it. I'll wait... just don't go anywhere else. Just act like you usually do." Umemiya stated, eyes were looking up to hers, expressing sincerity and admirance, yet she was blind to it.

"I'm not a man." she stated before avoiding his gaze.

"Well, you move like one." He blurted out earning a glare from Yuki. He moved his hands up in defense. "I mean... I didn't even notice that you aren't, not until a while ago. Are you sure you're really a girl?" He added, his tone was that of an unserious one.

Yuki was unsure if she could keep it to just glaring, because the guy's totally testing her temper.

She sighed.

She remembered she was in no position to be angry when in the first place she's the one at fault.

"I can't exactly tell you why I am in Makoc-" he covered her mouth.

"Shut up. Just speak when you're ready... Right, Kotoha?" Umemiya wandered his eyes around the room to find where the latter was, but unfortunately she was not in the room.

He facepalmed before letting out a chuckle.

"The culprit sneaked out." he muttered.

Yuki hearing it, furrowed her brows. "Don't tell me...?" She asked Umemiya who looked back at her when he caught her staring.

"Oh, don't get me wrong. All of it were totally accident." She started. "It's just that she played quite the big role on it. I'm grateful to her though..." He said smirking as he moved his brow up and down at her. She avoided his gaze once again.

It really was bad getting him to find out about her real gender, she could just feel it.... She trembled.

"How did you find out, then..." She asked totally curious how did they got to this point.

Umemiya's mood suddenly changed. He swallowed the lump on his throat as he began feeling the massive dropping of cold beads of sweat on his forehead.

He stood up abruptly, Yuki followed his eyes with her stare immediately.

"That was..." He avoided her gaze and rubbed the back of his head with his sweating palms.

"That was...?" She urged him to continue.

" I..." Umemiya slowly backed away. Steps getting larger and larger.

" I...?"

"I-I-I s-saw..." he muttered, stuttering from his nerves.

"Huh? Saw what?" she asked not liking his unfinished statement.

"I... I s-saw t-t-that!" He finally stated, shouting as he closes his eyes. His hands pointing at her direction.

"That...?" she asked before lowering her gaze to where he was pointing at. Her eyes gradually widened, her face turning the deepest shade of red when she realized what he was pertaining to.

She bowed her head. Umemiya stopped stepping back when he saw how she shuts up and just bowed. He tilted his head in confusion, brows also furrowing. He flinched when he saw her lifting her face and smiled at him. Her lips twitching.

"Umemiya" she called out his name and gestured her hands.

"Come here."

"Huh?" He said, he wasn't expecting her to be so calm about it.

"Come here." She once again spoke to him wearing the same smile.

Umemiya hesitantly approached her. "W-why?"
