Third Person's POV,
"Haha... ahaha...." Yuki's laughter rang so loudly on the four corners of their classroom that everyone present inside couldn't possibly ignore her.
In fact, all eyes were dead set on her as soon as she entered the room. It couldn't be helped, since she had entered like a lost drunkard, unable to walk straight, also lost in her head that they thought she had a hang over as she was just blankly staring straight ahead not hearing Kiryu calling her name out loud. And now she's laughing alone like a real retard.
Kind of afraid to ask her what happened, everyone just let her be, although Sakura was to approach her at first when Nirei stopped him, shaking his head in desperate plea not to go. Sakura did stop and shrugged the thought of approaching his friend.
Thud.
A sudden sound brought everyone's attention towards her direction yet again. It was so abrupt and loud that it made most of the boys flinch, while others turned their heads in mere curiousity.
Yuki banged her head to the desk of her chair, glaring at nothing but the flat surface.
"No way, that's not it!" She shouted and once again were about to bang her head in seek of clearing her mind, but a hand caught her forehead before it could meet with her desk again.
She glared and brought her head up to stare at the needless meddler. He's going to regret it.
But before she could spout the words, they were instead got caught in her throat as her eyes met those cursed ocean blue ones. The kind that she was dreading not to stare off at the moment, she was not brave enough, she simply admits.
'What a timing.' She could only think of before avoiding his gaze.
Umemiya, with eyes in a deadly smiling curve, took out a clean handkerchief and wiped her bleeding forehead, which she didn't even notice was scratched.
"What are you doing banging your precious forehead to the chair?" He muttered softly as he wiped her forehead gently.
Stunned by his action, Yuki froze in place like an innocent deer caught in the headlight, although ironically, her heart seemed to drift from her frozen state, as it stumps frantically inside her chest, ridiculing her efforts to prove that it wasn't what she was thinking it is, because she can't. She can't afford to get him caught up with her dilemma.
Yuki's eyes softened for a moment, still unable to meet his gaze.
He's a nice person, so kind for her own good. He's a very caring and responsible leader and fellow.
Just a very pure soul, and she is not going to taint him with her scars.
She's not going to be the cause of his destruction, so.... whatever it is, it has to be cut, and she's going to do just that.
Her eyes sparkled in determination before it turned to a cold and piercing one.
She glared at him.
"Let go."
