Narrator's POV:

Days had passed since the cafeteria incident, and the talk around Jooshin had finally begun to die down. It was true that the cafeteria incident had made quite a splash at Jooshin, and Nabi had been getting a lot of stares and whispers from other students ever since. At good side Nabi's days at Jooshin had also improved since the cafeteria incident. The other students seemed to be giving her a wider berth now, perhaps out of respect or fear after seeing the way she stood up to her bullies. On the other hand Kang Ha had become her near-constant companion, seemingly always appearing whenever she was alone or feeling lonely.

Nabi was used to being on her own, and the constant presence of Kang Ha both annoyed and intrigued her. Why was he always hanging around? Was he trying to protect her, or was there something else behind his actions?

Those were the thoughts she was having for the past days. She shrugged her thoughts off and just continue scrolling from her phone. It was a normal Saturday afternoon for Nabi, she was staying at their family house sitting in the big ass couch in their living room with a pop corn beside her, and the television playing a certain scene from her favourite drama Mr. Queen.

Suddenly she received a notification from her phone a follow request on her private Instagram account from Hera. Her brows furrowed at curiosity as she stalked the account for a bit before accepting the follow request.

There wasn't much to see in Hera's feed. It was just a bunch of photos of her and her friends drinking. One thing caught Nabi's attention though. She noticed that Hera post to much photos of her and Ri-an, almost looking like as if they're a couple or something.

Nabi thought it was weird, especially when Ri-an already have a girlfriend named Jae-i, which is Hera's bestfriend. How does she know? Well it's not intentional but somehow she manages to know all kind of gossips, teas and rumours circulating around the school. Impressive right?? That is one of the talent of the great Hwang Nabi.

She knows that Ri-an was the most influential student at Jooshin high school because he is the he heir of the Jooshin Group, meaning his family owns the school. He is the richest, and most famous student at Jooshin. He was like a king and Jooshin is his beloved palace.

Nabi was lost in her thoughts when a new notification popped up from her phone. It was a text message from her old childhood bestfriend Woojin.

"Hey Nabi," the message read. "I saw what happened in the cafeteria a few days ago. Are you doing okay?" Nabi looked at her phone, reading Woojin's message with a mix of surprise and curiosity.

After a few minutes she decided to reply. "Thanks for checking in," she typed back. "I'm doing fine. Don't worry."

"That's great to hear!" Another reply from Woojin appeared "btw we're having a small celebration for Jae-i's return, and we'd love to have you there."
