Narrator's POV:
Nabi heads back outside the changing room. As Nabi reaches the fencing strip, she saw Ri-an there, who is already waiting for her. She notices Rian's confident demeanor and can't help but wonder how this match is going to end. She doesn't doubt his fencing skills, but she also knows she's not at the top of her game right now due to her anxiety and distractions.
Nabi is dressed in a tight-fitting white fencing suit that hugs her slim body, emphasizing her figure and agility. The suit is made of a lightweight, breathable fabric to allow for maximum movement and freedom during the match. Rian is also dressed in a white fencing suit, which fits him similarly to Nabi's. The suit accentuates his muscular frame and athletic build, and the light color contrasts well against his skin. Both of them have the necessary protective gear, including masks, gloves, and a saber for the bout.
Their first match begins, and as soon as it started, Nabi and Ri-an move into action. The sound of their foils clashing together echoes throughout the room, the air thick with tension. Despite her troubled state, Nabi's years of experience and muscle memory take over, and she executes her moves flawlessly.
Ri-an, on the other hand, proves to be a tougher opponent than Nabi had anticipated. His skills have improved, and he manages to parry many of her attacks. It's clear that he has put in some serious practice, just as he claimed.
As the match progresses, Nabi starts to feel a sense of mounting pressure. She's usually more focused and clear-minded when she fences, but today, her mind is too chaotic, making it harder to strategize and execute her techniques effectively.
The score remains close throughout the match, and Nabi knows that it could go either way. She pushes herself harder, trying to find a way to gain the upper hand. But somehow, Ri-an seems to anticipate her every move, countering them with unexpected agility and precision.
The score is tied, and the match enters its final round. Nabi can feel the tension in the air, the pressure from both the competition and her own inner demons weighing heavily on her. She tries to push aside her worries and focus on the task at hand, but it's difficult.
As the final seconds tick by, the score remains tied. Nabi goes for a desperate, risky move, trying to catch Ri-an off guard. But Ri-an is faster, his reflexes sharper than she anticipated. He counters her move with a swift, precise flick of his foil, and seconds later, it's all over. The match calls in Ri-an's favor.
Nabi stands there, panting and frustrated, her mind reeling. She can't believe she lost, especially after putting up a strong fight. Ri-an approaches her with a smug grin, patting her on the shoulder.
"Told you I would win," he teases, his eyes glittering with triumph. "You're not used to losing, are you?" Nabi grits her teeth at Rian's gloating, her competitive nature still burning within her. Suddenly, an idea pops into her head, and she sees an opportunity to turn the tables.
