Nabi was deeply asleep in her bed, her mind completely occupied by dreams, but her dreams was far from being peaceful. Nabi found herself engulfed in a harrowing nightmare. She cried out in her sleep, her voice filled with raw emotion and pain. Her sister's face, twisted into a look of despair, stayed fixed in Nabi's mind, a horrifying, unforgettable sight that only added to her anguish.
Nabi dreamt of her sister, but instead of the fond memories they had once shared, the dream had taken a dark and terrifying turn. In her dream, her sister was standing on the brink of a tall building, a look of despair etched on her face. The wind whipped at her hair, and her eyes were fixated on something far below.
Nabi's heart raced and her breath grew shallower. She pleaded in her sleep, the words falling from her lips like a desperate prayer. "Please, no. No, please," she muttered, her voice thick with fear and grief.
Her body was tense, every muscle taut and trembling with the effort of enduring the nightmare. Her face have a mask of anguish as she relived the horrific scene of her sister's suicide. Her heart was pounding, her chest heaving with the effort of pushing air into her lungs in shuddering breaths.
Nabi's eyes remained tightly shut, perhaps as a futile attempt to block out the horrors of her nightmare. Each moment that passed seemed to drag on longer than the last, leaving Nabi trapped in a never-ending cycle of terror and anguish. Stifled sobs escaped Nabi's lips. The nightmare held her captive, its grip on her mind and emotions strong and unrelenting. Despite her attempts to break free, she remained trapped, engulfed in its terrifying grasp.
Finally, the nightmare faded, and Nabi jolted awake, her heart racing, her body drenched in sweat and tears streaming down her face. The images of her sister's despair and final moments still danced behind her eyelids, as if they were seared into her memory.
The room was cold and silent around her, the only sound coming from her own ragged breaths. She sat up in bed, the sheets twisted around her legs, and ran a trembling hand through her hair. She couldn't get the image of her sister's tear-stained face out of her mind. The horror and helplessness she felt in the dream were so intense that they still lingered, haunting her even in the safety of her own room.
She tried to shake off the feeling, telling herself it was just a nightmare, but the emotions that it had stirred within her were too raw that she couldn't just push it back. Soon after a gentle knock on her bedroom door was heard. Nabi looked at the door unable to move her body a single tear drop falling from her eyes.
The knock continues, and a soft voice called out. "Miss Nabi," Her maid, Im Sol whispered through the door. Nabi wiped her own tears, as the knock sounded again, more insistent this time.
