Hanni

Minji came to visit me at our apartment after she hungout with Haerin. "Hi, what're you up to?" She asked, peeking outside the door. I like it when she does that, she's too cute. "Hi, babe~ nothing, I just finished revising our lessons. What about you? Did you and Haerin have fun?" I asked genuinely, I'm glad that my jealousy wasn't acting up.

I pulled her in to the room and made her sit down next to me on the couch.

"Definitely, she looked so happy and she loved the ice cream." Minji chuckled while looking somewhere down, probably thinking about the moment they spent. Her expression was soft, it was the look of contentment.

"That's nice, what are the other things you guys did?" I asked, still looking at her. She looked at me for a second before looking down again and saying "First, we ran with the sunset together which was so fun and just... wow, then we bought ice cream and tasted each other's flavors-" I sighed as she continued talking about their time, and wait- tasted each other's flavors?! What the heck does she mean by that???

"Took pictures inside, took a walk at the park and talked, then we went back to the parking lot and went home after saying goodbye." She finished her story as if she was a child telling her mom about how happy her day was. "What do you mean by "tasted each other's flavors?" Did you guys kiss or something?" I furrowed my eyebrows as my expression changed.

"We just had a taste of each other's ice cream! That's what I meant!" Minji exclaimed and giggled. "It's the same! You guys had an indirect kiss!" I protested and whined. "Hanni, you do the same with your other friends." She rolled her eyes playfully but I wasn't having it. "Well- because they're just friends and nothing more!" I spoke firmly.

"And Haerin is also a friend of mine, that's the same thing, right? You don't see me complaining when you do that to your friends." Minji muttered lowly as her tone changed. I know she was getting pissed when her voice suddenly became low.

"I-Im sorry, you just sounded like you had a lot of fun with her, which you did... but okay, I guess we could do that with friends." I apologized, I didn't want to fight her. "Yeah, guess we could." She replied, sounding distant.

"I'm going, bye." Minji spoke lowly but her tone softened, she gave me a kiss on my cheek before going out the door and leaving.

"Bye..."

Today is their final practice for their fashion show which will be held tonight, everyone was in place, the music slayed, as well as the models. "And 5, 6, 7, 8!" The staffs signaled them to start.

"You're going to kill it tonight." Haerin teased Minji and giggled. "I know." Minji replied lowly with a smirk, she pulled Haerin's waist closer to her making Haerin and some people purse their lips in surprise.

"They have chemistry!"

"I need someone like either of them."

"I'm jealous!!"

While the students commented on the side, Minji and Haerin walked  together and showed them how it's done.

Haerin

As she held my waist, I can't stop myself from blushing. "You're blushing." Minji suddenly whispered against my ear while we're on stage, doing our poses. I gasped and tried to not look embarassed in front of her. "It's alright, you look cute with it on." She giggled and led me to the exit as we finished our moment.

She thinks I'm cute- AKDIDNSHIBALJENWJ

"People think you look good together." Danielle spoke after our practice. "Meh."

"Seriously? Come on, Hae! Even I can't deny that! I was rooting for you guys ever since we were little and we literally thought you'd end up with her. Until now, we still do."

"You should keep your hopes low, it won't ever happen and you know that." I sighed at the thought that I just can't love who I love.

"Are you blind or somethin'?? Minji kept on looking at you, caring for you, doing funny things then looking at you which I think is for her to see what your reaction would be! She likes you! Dumbass!" Danielle kept on protesting, I also have a feeling that what she concluded was true, but I can't believe until Minji makes it clear.

"I just wanna forget about her, seriously, I was doing fine then I met her."

I was doing fine... then I met her.

"What can I say, first love always hit different." Danielle nudged my shoulders playfully and smirked.

My love kept on coming back to her.

"Look, she's staring at you again!" Danielle leaned closer and whispered. "I am loving this!" She added one more time.

Even after practice, I could see her glancing over me, as if what the girl's are saying were true... that she still likes me.

But I could only dream about that, Hanni is better than me anyway.

"You're thinking that Hanni is better than you." She spoke, as if she could read my mind. What the heck?

"What?? How did you know that???" I asked in shock. "We all know what your damn expression looks like when you do that." Dani rolled her eyes and chuckled.

"Look, I love Hanni, I also respect what they have, but I admit that you're just the better one. Sometimes, I can see Hanni's immature behavior which doesn't sound like her." What? Hanni is the most mature friend I have, what did Dani saw?

"How is she immature?? She's literally the "fuck off" girl of the group. Don't know when her mood will shift, one second she's laughing, then later she'll act like nothing you say matters."

"See, you got the point but it's a li'l different from my view. Hanni would constantly fight Minji, curse on her when Minji does something that she didn't like, and tease her with the not so pleasing things you want to hear. Haven't you notice that?" Danielle threw her hands up in the air out of frustration and furrowed her eyebrows.

"Now that you've mentioned it, I actually do... I don't understand why Minji should always be the one to please her and understand her. Is it because she's the one who confessed first? No, it doesn't sound fair. She shouldn't treat her like that just because Minji loved her first." I can feel myself getting defensive on Minji's side, I really didn't like it when I see them like that.

"Sigh, welp- that's their problem now, let's just see if Minji will come back crawling to you."

I don't feel so good while talking about my bestfriend like that, but it's just what I see, okay? It's not that I'm talking about her like this because she has Minji. I've observed their relationship for a long time, and this is just when I get to share it with someone.

...

The event will start in an hour, Minji is already back from home. As of now, she's just waiting for Haerin to arrive.

"Wonder how she looks like..." Minji asked to herself while sitting with the other models. As Minji kept on wondering, her heart was pounding from nervousness, she hasn't done this for a while and she felt like she will just lose her aura.

Minji paced around the room, biting her fingernails, until a familiar figure arrived, making her stop her tracks... as well as her heart.
