You had moved a week ago back after being gone out of town for 2 years.
You left after you and Darry ended things badly.
You knew you couldn't fix the relationship, Or at least you thought. So you had moved to start over since everyone knew you for only being Dumped by Darry.
You had broken up because your ex came back into town and started messing with you. You never did anything but push him off until Darry caught him kissing you and broke it off. You tried to explain that's not what happen but he didn't believe you.
So not only were you know for being dumped by him but everyone thought you cheated and you got hated on everywhere.
You and your bestfriend moved together.
You decided to move back to see how things were doing and if people still hated you.
One night you were out smoking. The sun was going down and it was the end of May.
Which meant school was out. Which meant the greasers would be outsider 24/7 to smoke or do whatever. And of course you had ran into Darry. You were walking, Looking down and bumped into his in a group.
"Oh shit, I'm sorry" You looked up to see it was him. "Oh shit.." You whispered to yourself. "Hey Y/N" "Hey Dar..."
"So you're back eh?" "I mean, I'm standing right here" He air laughed. Darry always thought it was funny how you could make a joke in any situation.
"You wanna talk?" He was with Dally and Ponyboy.
"Not really..But sure" Ponyboy didn't say anything but awkwardly smiled at you which you just gave a small smile back. Dally just kept a straight face. "Hi Pony, And Dally" "Welcome back to Town" Dally greeted you.
"Thanks" You turned to walk with Darry a little far from Pony and Dally.
"Why did you move back" "I don't know.. Just felt like it. Wanted to see if I was still hated after 2 years and how everything was holding up" "Okay... Are you doing alright"
"Finally, Yeah"
"What do you mean finally?" "What do I not mean? I had the whole town and school hating on me. Random girls I didn't even know hated me"
"Yeah, Sorry for that" "Oh yeah, That's gonna change it" "Loo-" "Do you think I cheated still?" "No, Because I found out. And I'm really sorry but you can't blame me for not thinking anything" "I guess.. But I can't believe you just would'nt get Dally to beat him up for the answer or something. And how long did it take you to realize?"
"About 2 months.." "Damn" "I know. But listen, I'm really sorry okay. I'm sorry for not looking more into it" "It's okay now. I'm not gonna be mad after 2 years. I didn't come here for more drama"
"What did you come here for?" "Honestly, I wanted to check up on you and try to make things up. I missed you. Real bad" "I know"
"What do you mean you know?" "Because I had a gut feeling because I missed you too"
"For real?" "For real" He leans down and kisses you.
"OWW!" *Pony starts clapping*
"Shut up you two" Darry says and you walk home with them.
