"He went to that house today in the evening." A voice said.
"Do you think he found any clue?" Another voice asked.
"I don't think so. But he took that safe with him." The previous voice replied.
"We've not been able to open that damn safe for the past 4 years, do you think he'll be able to open it?" The voice asked yet again.
"It's his dad's safe. Maybe he knows the password." The first voice replied.
"We can't say anything. You be careful when you are around him. Also, Aanya brought that kid with her, do you think you can somehow bring her to me? She'll get us a good amount." He said smirking at the thought of selling the little kid.
"I can try. Aanya's not so in touch with me currently. Only at the office sometimes. She didn't even tell me where she has kept that bitch Kavya." She said to him being overly frustrated.
"Don't worry, she'll be dead once I find her." He said with devilish smile.
"Make sure you stay stuck on that sentence." She replied in a stern voice as if knowing something forbidden.

Flashback
"Aanya, I want to marry you when we grow up." Little Vineet said to little Aanya while showing her the drawing he just made in their art class.
"Ouh is it? But I don't want to marry anyone. My mumma had to leave her dada after marriage." Aanya said with a pout. "Don't worry, we'll bring your dada to our house too after our marriage." Vineet said bringing a smile on little Aanya's face.
Kids have purest hearts. They talk everything that comes to their mind without moulding it. Who knew god had other plans.
12 years later....
[Both Aanya and Vineet are 16yo that means they've just finished their schooling and newly entered into their college life. In case y'all forgot, let me remind you- Aanya drank on the last day of her school which led to Vineet and Aanya have intimate moments which only Vineet is aware of. Current scene starts with first day at college.( Though I've already kind of given few flashbacks in the beginning, right now, I'm going to provide a full flashback of college life of Vineet and Aanya and how they fell in love with each other after being hardcore enemies. Aanya's POV
I was in library studying with Ahana. I was too focused on studying to notice Ahana giving heart eyes to Vineet who was playing basketball in the ground.
I looked up at Ahana to ask her a pen as mine was out of ink, but saw her lost in Vineet. This girl likes that dipshit? She definitely has a very bad taste in men.
"Ahana" I called her but she didn't respond. "Ahana!" I called her a little louder this time. "Geez! Are you mad? Can't you see I'm busy? Wtf do you want?" She responded rudely. Damn! Didn't know she was a bitch.
"Yeah! Busy looking at a loser. Anyways I was gonna ask you for a pen but the attitude you just threw at me isn't even worth of me looking at you. So kindly fuck off!" I said and went back to studying, ignoring the venomous glares she threw at me.
What is she? 8? That she's getting mad at me coz I interrupted her so called admiring session. Dumb bitch. "Aanya.." I heard her but I decided to ignore her. I didn't want to come out rude to her coz I know I'll surely say something rude if I even look at her right now.
I quietly packed my bag and went out of the library. I'm not the kind of girl who would bear unnecessary attitude thrown at her. I came out of library and saw Vineet standing there looking at me. "Looking for your lover girl, kiddo?" I asked him moving past him without waiting for any response.
"Wtf?" I heard him before he came and snatched my bag from me. "Hey!" I yelled trying to take my bag from him when I noticed my scrunchie on his wrist. "That's mine." I said. "Yeah? Take it then!" He held the bag even higher. "I'm talking about the scrunchie." I said looking at the scrunchie.
"What nonsense! This ain't yours. Why would your scrunchie be on my wrist?" He over-explained. "Why are you getting all defensive? And that's my scrunchie! Give it back to me." I said pulling the scrunchie. "Stay away!" We heard Ahana.
"Can you stop irritating Vineet everytime you see him? Do you think it is good to irritate someone like this? Can't you see he doesn't want anything to do with you? Why do you always go and stick on him like a leech?-" She was about to say more but I cut her off.
"Shut the fuck up! What the hell is wrong with you Ahana? You've been rude to me the whole day today. Even in the library your attitude was not at all acceptable. And why the hell does it concern you if Vineet is wanting to do anything with me or not? And let me get this straight for you, i was not the one who approached him, he came and started irritating me. Why am I even justifying this? I thought I had a friend on this campus, turns out you are a snake just like everyone else here. Now please fuck off!!"
I burst out. The anger in me was so ignited that I couldn't control my mouth. I don't think I should've said the snake part but I don't regret it at all. She is a snake afterall.
I turned onto my heels and went out of the campus. Since all of my lectures are over, I don't have to be worried about missing on them. Vineet said he was going to drop me home and that's why I was waiting for him. But I think right now he is busy with his 'lover girl'.
I kept walking. I didn't want to go home. I didn't feel like it. I think I said too much but yet again I don't have any regret over what I said. I stood nearby a lake-bridge. I kept staring at the water when I heard a car honk.
"Aanya?! What are you doing here? You should've been home right now." Yashvi said. Damn! I never realised I missed her so much until I finally saw her. She came out of the car and i just went and hugged her tight.
"Ayeee what's wrong babygirl?" She asked. "She is a snake." Was all I said and she took me home. We spent the night at my home having a girl's sleepover just
Like old times. I told her all about Ahana and how she is a snake while she filled me up with gossips of her campus.
I feel like, Ahana is making me hate Vineet even more. Maybe it's just a random thought in my head but I can't help it.
