"Briar! Briar!"

The next morning, the blonde was on her way to cheerleading practice when she got stopped by her good friend, Jane, daughter of Fairy Godmother. She had her blue cheerleading outfit on with her hair tied into a high ponytail with a yellow bow in.

"Hey J," she said smiling. "You okay?"

"I, I have to see Mom, b-but," Jane began as Briar chuckled.

"But she's teaching the VK's?" Briar asked as Jane nodded, "and you want me to come with you?"

"Please!" she begged as Briar smiled.

"Let's go," Briar said and the two walked towards the library where the four VK's were sat while Fairy Godmother was teaching them. Fairy Godmother looked up and a warm smile came on her face when she saw her daughter and Briar.

"Hello, dear ones," she said as the two girls walked down the aisle between the VK's. The four VK's turned to look at them and Jane whimpered and sped up towards her mom while Briar took a casual stroll.

"Hi," Jane said nervously, "you need to sign off on early dismissal for the coronation."

"Everyone here remembers my daughter, Jane?" Fairy Godmother said as Jane looked terrified, "and Sleeping Beauty's daughter, Briar-Rose." Briar sent them a small smile before she looked at Carlos who not so subtly looked the other way. 

"Mom, no!" Jane said as Briar smiled. 

"It's okay," Fairy Godmother said as Briar chuckled at the girl. "Jane, this is everyone."

"Hi," Jane said, her voice shaky as the blonde smiled, "that's okay, don't mind me. As you were." 

The brunette walked past the four, whimpering slightly as Briar chuckled.

"Oh, Briar dear?" Fairy Godmother asked.

"Yeah?" the blonde asked.

"Your sister told me you two went to the museum last night," Fairy Godmother said as the four VK's exchanged nervous looks. "She said she thought you saw people in there?"

Briar looked at her while the VK's held their breath.

"I didn't see anyone," the blonde said, "I thought I did, but it must have been a glitch in the system." Fairy Godmother smiled and nodded as the blonde smiled.

"Thank you for checking my dear," she said as Briar smiled. "Oh, Ben said you were looking after Dude today?"

"I am," Briar said, "I'm picking him up later on and then heading to practice."

"Well, take care my darling," Fairy Godmother said as Briar smiled.

'You too," she said smiling. She turned around, gave the VK's a knowing look, and walked out as the four VK's exchanged looks.

"Hey, Briar, right?"

Briar turned away from her locker and saw Mal standing there, her book in her hand as she nodded. She was wearing a light blue dress with a pair of white heels. 

"Yeah," she said, "Mal, right?" Mal nodded.

"You covered for us," she said as Briar looked at her, "Carlos told us you saw him in the museum. Why did you do that? I mean, your entire family hates mine and I'm pretty sure your sister would love to see me get shipped back to the Isle. Why would you do that?"
