After finishing up in the art room, they decided to walk home together again. The evening air was cool and refreshing, and Abro felt a sense of contentment being by Annie's side.

As they walked, Abro found himself lost in thoughts about her. He wondered if she had ever noticed him during the past two years when he had visited the restaurant just to see her. It felt stalker-like, and he knew he needed to be honest with her about his feelings.

"Annie," he began, breaking the comfortable silence between them. "There's something I need to tell you."

Annie looked at him, her expression curious but cautious. "What is it?"

Abro took a deep breath, feeling a shiver run down his spine. "I've actually known about you for a while. I've been to your father's restaurant many times over the past two years, just to see you. I know it sounds weird, but I couldn't help myself. You've always captivated me."

Annie was silent, her eyes searching his face for sincerity. "So, you've been watching me for two years?"

"Yes," Abro admitted, feeling his heart race. "But I never approached you because I didn't want to come off as a stalker. I just... I needed to be near you, even if you didn't know I existed."

Annie's expression softened, a mixture of surprise and something else in her eyes. "That's... a lot to take in. But I appreciate your honesty, Abro."

Abro felt a weight lift off his shoulders. "I understand if you think it's weird. I just wanted you to know the truth."

Annie was quiet for a moment, her gaze distant. "It's not that weird. I mean, I guess I've always known people come to the restaurant for more than just the food. I just never thought someone would be so honest about it."

They continued walking in silence, the night air filled with the sounds of distant traffic and the rustle of leaves. Abro felt a mix of anxiety and hope, unsure of how Annie would react to his confession in the long run.

When they reached Annie's house, she turned to him, her expression unreadable. "Thanks for walking me home again, Abro. And for being honest with me."

"Anytime," Abro replied, his heart pounding. "Goodnight, Annie."

"Goodnight," she said, giving him a small nod before disappearing inside.

As Abro walked back home, his mind raced with thoughts and emotions. He couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more he needed to say to Annie. His confession had been honest, but there were deeper layers he hadn't touched on. Suddenly, he stopped in his tracks, turned around, and began to run back towards Annie's house. He called out her name as she was entering her home.

"Annie!" he shouted, his voice filled with urgency.

She paused, turning to look at him with a mix of surprise and curiosity. "Abro? What is it?"

Breathless, Abro came to a halt in front of her. "I need to talk to you some more," he said, his heart pounding.

Annie stepped closer, her expression cautious. "What do you want to say?"

Abro took a deep breath, gathering his thoughts. "About what you said earlier, about me being different from other people... I don't think that's entirely true. You see, when I help you, it's not just because I'm trying to be selfless. I want to get close to you. In a way, I was hoping you'd wonder about me, maybe see me as some kind of mysterious person."

Annie's eyes narrowed slightly, her curiosity piqued. "Go on."

"It is true that I get embarrassed looking you in the eyes," Abro admitted. "But it wasn't the whole truth. I thought that by helping you and then walking away, you'd notice me and wonder who I was. It was a calculated move, I guess."

Annie crossed her arms, listening intently.

"I didn't want to come off as a stalker or anything," Abro continued, his voice earnest. "I just... I wanted you to see me. To notice me. And now, I'm wondering if you're disappointed in me for that."

Annie was silent for a moment, her eyes searching his face. "So, you're saying you had an agenda?"

Abro nodded, feeling his heart race. "Yes, I guess I did. But it's not just that. I want to get to know you better, Annie. I want to understand you. It's not just your beauty that I'm drawn to. It's everything about you. The way you speak, it feels like every word is the truth. The atmosphere around you, it's so peaceful and cozy. I can't describe it with words, but it's something I feel deeply."

He paused, struggling to find the right words to convey his feelings. "Maybe my vocabulary is bad, or maybe the words don't exist to describe what I'm feeling. But I want you to know that I genuinely care about you."

Annie's expression softened slightly, though she still seemed cautious. "That's a lot to take in, Abro. But I appreciate your honesty."

"Have you ever noticed me before high school?" Abro asked, his voice tinged with vulnerability. "Even though I could spot you among a billion people?"

Annie looked thoughtful. "I can't say I have. I've always been focused on my own world, I guess. But now that I know, it does make me wonder about all those times you were around."

Abro nodded, feeling a mix of relief and anxiety. "I just wanted you to know the truth. And I hope that you won't judge me too harshly for it."

Annie took a deep breath, her eyes meeting his. "I won't judge you, Abro. Everyone has their reasons for doing things. And I appreciate that you were honest with me."

They stood in silence for a moment, the night air cool around them. Abro felt a weight lift off his shoulders, though he knew there was still much to learn about each other.

"Let's take things one step at a time," Annie said finally. "We'll get to know each other better. No more secrets."

Abro smiled, feeling a sense of hope. "I'd like that."

Annie nodded. "Goodnight, Abro. And thank you for coming back to tell me this."

"Goodnight, Annie," Abro replied, his heart full. "See you tomorrow."

As he walked back home, Abro felt a sense of peace. He knew there were still many challenges ahead, but he was ready to face them with honesty and a determination to build something real with Annie.
