The days that followed were filled with a new sense of closeness and understanding between Abro and Annie. They continued to spend time together, both at school and at the restaurant, their bond growing stronger with each passing day.

One afternoon, as they were walking home from school, Abro decided it was time to talk about their future. "Annie," he began, his voice filled with determination. "I've been thinking a lot about us. About our future."

Annie looked at him, her expression curious. "What about it?"

"I want to be with you," Abro said, his eyes serious. "Not just now, but in the future. I want to build a life with you, to support you in everything you do."

Annie's eyes softened, a small smile playing on her lips. "I want that too, Abro. But we need to take things one step at a time. We have to make sure we're both ready for that kind of commitment."

Abro nodded, feeling a deep sense of understanding. "I know. And I'm willing to be patient. I just want you to know how much you mean to me."

Annie reached out and took his hand, squeezing it gently. "I know, Abro. And you mean a lot to me too. We'll figure things out together."

They continued walking, the conversation flowing easily between them. As they reached the corner where they usually parted ways, Abro felt a sense of contentment. He knew there were still challenges ahead, but he was ready to face them with Annie by his side.
