Word of Annie's and Abro's relationship spread quickly through the school, reaching the ears of their friends and classmates. Some were supportive, while others were skeptical and curious.
One day, during lunch, Abro and Annie decided to confront their friends together. They sat down at a table surrounded by their closest friends, ready to address any concerns and questions.
"Hey, everyone," Annie began, her voice steady but firm. "Abro and I want to talk to you about our relationship."
One of Annie's friends, a girl named Sarah, raised an eyebrow. "We've heard the rumors. Is it true that you two are dating?"
"Yes," Abro replied, his voice confident. "We are."
Another friend, Jake, looked skeptical. "But isn't it weird, Annie? You're a third-year, and he's a first-year. Doesn't that cause problems?"
Annie shook her head. "What matters is how we feel about each other and how we support each other."
Sarah leaned forward, her expression curious. "But what about your future plans? You're going to college, right? How are you going to make that work with Abro still in high school?"
"We're going to figure it out together," Annie said, her voice filled with determination. "We know there will be challenges, but we're willing to face them."
Abro nodded in agreement. "We're committed to making this work. We just need your support and understanding."
Their friends exchanged glances, some still looking skeptical, but others nodding in agreement. "If you two are serious about this," Sarah said finally, "then we support you. Just make sure you communicate and support each other."
Annie smiled, feeling a weight lift off her shoulders. "Thank you, Sarah. That means a lot to us."
