—raven, steven, and duff lazed about in her hotel room. duff and steven were piled onto her bed as she sat on the floor in the opening of the sliding door that went to the balcony. the rain beat down against the cement balcony as raven watched the lightning strike in the sky. thunder shrieked loudly, cracking an echo through the current city they were in. raven wasn't even sure which city it was anymore.
"I hate the rain," steven groaned into the cool air.
"what? why?" raven asked, head snapping in his direction.
steven shrugged although raven wasn't able to see it since her attention had quickly returned to the sky. "it's just creepy."
"it is not, it's beautiful," she grumbled. "and it's soothing"
"okay, I've gotta agree with steven on this one," duff interrupted. "it is a little creepy. but I'm only saying that because we're in a hotel."
"so? that's what makes it cool," raven said in a 'duh' tone as if it was obvious.
"nu uh, we have to walk to the tour bus through that," steven added in the same tone.
"oh fuck I forgot about that," raven groaned, leaning her head back against the door frame. she frowns deeply as she thinks about having to tramp through the pouring rain.
duff and steven share a laugh at her appalled expression. "and they parked the bus off to the side today too," steven teased.
"can't they move it?" raven whined.
"nope, you ain't gonna melt princess," duff teased. "and we should probably get ready, we need to be on the bus in an hour. cmon steven, we gotta get our shit together," duff smacked stevens leg and the pair stood up, making their way to the door.
"whose room are we meeting at?" raven asked since they usually met at someone's room and all walked down together.
"slash's," steven answered with an apologetic smile as he walked out the door. raven groaned, tossing her head back against the door frame before standing up. she'd taken her clothes to the laundromat today and gotten them all washed and strangely, she hadn't put them away yet.
she grabbed the remote and sat on the bed with her clothes, folding them while she watched the Munsters. her stomach growled but she ignored it, unable to stop once she'd started folding. pushing through, she folded all of her clothes and organized everything into her bag, leaving out some clothes to change into after her shower.
