raven sits alone in the classroom, distinct frown taking the place of her usual smile.
she glances out the window at all the kids playing outside on the playground. she sighs sadly and looks back down at her the test on her desk.
its the last day of fifth grade and the teacher is making her take a test that she missed. its not that she haas to take to the test, its that she has to take the test during recess. like, cmon! raven knows the teachers a soul-less vampire but can't she have a little compassion for a ten year old little girl?
and the teacher isn't even in the room right now, she went off to gossip with the teacher across the hall.
she is very sad. slash actually got the entire grade to play freeze tag today and she's not even allowed to go play.
raven groans and lets her forehead fall onto the table before sitting up and re-focusing. if she finished this test quick enough, maybe she'd at least get a few minutes of recess. so she quickly starts jotting down answers she's really not entirely sure about.
she is so focused on her test in fact, that she doesn't even realize the two little girls that enter the classroom giggling.
"raaveeeeen," one of them draws out. raven jumps at the noise, not having noticing there was other people in the room, before she turns her head and looks at them.
her face scrunches when she recognizes the girls as lisa adams' friends. but instead of being mean like her brother told her to do, she paints on a fake smile. "hey."
she absolutely cannot stand lisa adams and her stupid friends. they're all just so mean! and for no reason! sometimes she really wishes they'd all take a long walk off a short pier.
the other girls smile turns into a conniving grin. "we have something for you." she nudges her friend who grins as well before she pulls a folded note out of the pocket of her dress.
